We need to put the strongest pressure possible on the Norwegian parliament, so that they know we are watching them and that the decision they are about to make will mark History. Help us get @erna_solberg see this and make sure @Hoyre listens to science and #StopDeepSeaMining

Even the Norwegian Environmental Agency (the government's own scientists!) said this proposition has no scientific or legal background and that it should not go ahead.

We are currently in Norway. We have 3 days to prevent a global environmental scandal. It is not just a new project of destruction of an ecosystem, not just “another pipeline, another climate bomb”. This is truly the story of the potential beginning of a brand new industry.

The world is watching you @erna_solberg @Hoyre. The impacts of your decision will not only impact 🇳🇴, but the whole world. You can be remembered as a true climate/ocean leader: all you have to do is #StopDeepSeaMining on January 9th

You can make the right choice, @erna_solberg @Hoyre. You can choose to listen to scientists, rather than a mining industry with no business case. You can choose to make 🇳🇴 a real leader, or to make it the first country to destroy the Arctic ocean, its biodiversity & fisheries

Dear @erna_solberg, on January 9th you and @Hoyre can make history. You can choose to put 🇳🇴on the side of science and ocean protection, or on the side of madness and ocean destruction. Here’s why we count on you to vote to #StopDeepSeaMining in the Arctic on January 9th ⬇️
