non filipinos cant seem to fathom that we hate both the US and china all because they dont experience being stretched thin at both sides. must be so nice to live in a country that isn't being forced to bow down to two imperialist states.

ah the misinformation around pax silica is getting to me... guys it's not a Data Center they're constructing. It's not processing/ storing digital info. They're putting up manufacturing hubs for semiconductors. The goal is securing global supply chains to reduce reliance on China

We're already not in a good stand with our government โ and it would really help us if you take the time to have some awareness over the Philippines

please DO NOT give these people the e-mail associated with your ao3 accounts. since this is monetized and directly referencing them, itโs more likely that ao3 and their legal team themselves can work on a takedown request, or at least provide instructions on how to do it safely. DO NOT DOXX YOURSELF TO AN AI SLOP SITE.

In light of recent ao3 related events, I have stumbled upon a website that I think authors need to be made aware of.ย
The website ao3 [DOT] life has been scraping and downloading fics published to ao3 for who knows how long. ๐งต

Five years ago someone commented on one of my fics asking if they could record a podfic version and post it as a work inspired by. I said sure, and we took things to DMs, and now weโve got wedding plans. AI is a soulless machine and antithetical to the fandom experience.

there's something so sinister about how the entertainment industry keeps putting out all this "forgive your abuser" and "evil people are just damaged" propaganda. she kidnapped her because her hair kept her young. that's it.
Disneyโs live-action โTANGLEDโ will reportedly change Mother Gothelโs final scene, adding a new line of dialogue absent from the original film.
Gothel will say โI loved youโ to Rapunzel as she begins to age.

for anyone who isn't aware yet, trump is visiting the philippines on november 16 for the possible signing of the pax silica agreement. the communities severely affected by this are continuously showing resistance, as this will only do more harm than good for us filipinos and our homeland.
stay informed and use your voice. research and take a stand.
