Be with people who want you to win. Be with people who value your authenticity. Be with people who are willing to have difficult but important conversations. Be with people who care about your inner world. Be with people who want to know you better, so they can love you better.

I left my SWE role at the beginning of this year. It was very sad, but I learned that no job is worth your happiness or health. This year, my journey has been dedicated to: 1. Taking care of my body and brain 2. Learning product / UX design 3. Community – I've missed you all!

Sharing wins here is great, but so is sharing defeat. Storytime! Last year I was approached by a local company - an Amazon top seller of hair products - to submit a proposal for redesigning their website. Excited, I submitted a proposal with my ideas and fees. 👇

Guy I met on a dating app 😗 He made the transition with a psych degree (which I also had) and got his job after doing a bootcamp. I thought, “if he did it, I bet I could too” It’s crazy how much your life change after crossing paths with one person

Last year I listed everything I made in 2021, so its only right I continue the trend. I didn't make nearly as many things this year as my projects got bigger and took longer to make, but at the end of it all I accomplished the one thing I set out to do, I got hired! 👀🧵👇🏾
