Can’t even celebrate an absolute beauty of this goal anymore… VAR just chalked off a legit Puskas contender for an accidental handball way back in the build-up.

Ok, people. I got the scoop.
Why it took only 10 months for common sense AND data to slap CAF into U-turn as they run back to an AFCON every two years instead of a quadrennial cycle.

I hear you, and truthfully, many of the concerns you've raised have crossed my mind as well.
The safest choice is often to do nothing. The harder choice is to step forward when the outcome is uncertain.
It's easy to stand on the sidelines and point out what's broken. It's much harder to step into the arena, knowing that success isn't guaranteed and criticism is inevitable. But some things are bigger than comfort or reputation.
I believe we all have a responsibility to leave the game better than we found it. Not for ourselves, but for every boy and girl who dreams of what this game can make possible.
I'm a product of the game. I owe it more than my opinions. Whether the timing is right or not, only time will tell.
But sometimes the future we want only begins when enough people decide to step forward and help build it.

Everytime I watch Jude Bellingham play I feel like yelling at him, he makes sure to pursue literally every ball as though it's a WC final
In my entire time watching football I've never seen anything like this before, a workaholic, a scorer, a creator all in one.
Never goes blank in a match, you must always feel his impact anyway, anyhow
Unarguably the best midfielder in the world 🐐

For Anderson, it's a normal day in the office and this isn't even a really good game for him. He's played better for Mancity this season.
This is a world class midfielder. Unfortunately, not every player can match this level.
The Premier League was lucky Rodri left City, because these two would've dominated every opponent they faced.

I believe Elliot Anderson has the potential to “bring control and the right tempo to all that (English) physical and technical explosiveness”. He just needs the environment that allows him to do that and that’s where the manager comes in.

There are midfielders some people will never see what they offer because they aren't fancy in the eyes; Anderson belongs to that group. The work this guy does in both phases per 90 is incredible. He is underrated.
As far as being dominant in both phases (not one phase) goes, he is up there among the best in the world.
If you think otherwise, back it up with stats or tactical analysis, not gut feelings.

Fun fact: when Omar asked the guy what he's in for and the guy says he's here on a 22-55, the guy was actually in prison for real at the time and he was actually waiting on a 22-55 hearing and he agreed to do the show..
Another fun fact is that guys name is Donnie Andrews and he is the actual man that the Omar Little character was based on..
Just a couple more reasons why the wire is best show of all time.
I love how Omar was like, "Marlo? naw I never heard of him." No matter how hard Marlo tried, he could never get his name to ring bells like Omar or Avon.
I love how this reminds one that Omar is only human. You can clearly see how terrified he was at the prospect of being in there alone.
Another point that shows how nobody knows who Marlo is despite him trying his best to be known on the west side.
Omar not only knew who Avon is, but knew who every single one of his soldiers is and how they work.
Marlo tried so hard to be known but in the end all the people who actually knew who he was, ended up in the vacants.🎬🍿
Haaland is my favourite superstar because he’s not a tactical misfit.
He has also grown into a leader and a standard setter.
Dream player for any coach in every regard.

Chale, at what point do we stop treating the Bawaleshie School Park like an ordinary neighbourhood park and start building something worthy of the history happening there?
The Ayews. Mohammed Gago. Baffour Gyan. John Mensah. Asamoah Gyan. Van Vicker, Timothy Weah. And now Liberia’s former President George Weah turning up around the Monday Stars games.
All this attention should leave something behind: a proper modern pitch, good drainage, floodlights, changing rooms and decent spectator facilities, still open to the school, still for the community, but upgraded to a standard everyone can be proud of.
Imagine the stars, sponsors, local authorities and corporate Ghana coming together to make Bawaleshie one of Accra’s finest community football grounds. That would be a proper legacy, not just big names passing through, but something the next generation can actually inherit.
The football royalty is already coming.
Make the park fit for royalty too.
Fellas, @OtiAdjei @eastsportsman @garyalsmith @KwesiBenedict @owurakuampofo @Fentuo @SaddickAdams — this one be agenda we for push. Bawaleshie deserves the upgrade.

I hear you, but the issue isn’t “astro vs sand” it’s quality and proper planning.
A well-built community pitch, with good drainage, the right surface, maintenance, changing rooms and lighting, would give Bawaleshie far more value than the current setup. The Bawaleshie school gets a better facility and the community gets more playing hours. Colts teams and local clubs get a proper home while the kids get a safer place to train.
Think beyond astroturf, bro!
