BREAKING: @GovKathyHochul and @GovMurphy joined us today as we broke ground on the Dyer Avenue deck-overs, marking the first stage in the construction of the new Midtown Bus Terminal. The deck-overs will facilitate the construction of the new bus terminal and will be used for staging buses during construction. When it’s done, the space will be transformed into 3.5 acres of brand-new public green space. The new bus terminal will replace the decades-old infrastructure with 21st-century facilities, improving commuter experience and reducing bus congestion on neighborhood streets. Project highlights: ✅ New main terminal ✅ Separate bus staging and storage area ✅ Direct ramps to the Lincoln Tunnel ✅ Street-facing level restaurants and retail to create a vibrant, walkable environment ✅ Fully ADA-accessible Built in stages, full completion of the Midtown Bus Terminal project is expected in 2032.
