I've been in the USA for 5 days working on an AI project. I can say unequivocally, Americans are nice, friendly, and helpful. I've been asked out for dinners, drinks. When I work on projects in Canada, people are cold and disinterested in socializing. Americans openly discuss politics, gun culture, and are all amazed how communist Canada has become. When I talk about our media and activist political class they just shake their heads.
