I’ve only been in Belgrade for 2 days and I already have a list of things I didn’t expect to love about this city 🇷🇸
I came with an open mind because I’d never been to this part of Europe, and so far:
→ English is widely spoken, so getting around is surprisingly easy
→ The city is such a cool mix of street culture, brutalist architecture and European charm
→ Nightlife is very active, with people of all ages
→ It feels incredibly safe
→ People are VERY friendly
→ The web3 community is big, active and insanely talented
→ Public transportation is FREE and works amazingly well
→ It’s outside Schengen, which makes it an interesting option if you want to spend more time in Europe
→ Food for every taste and every budget
And I’ve only been here for 2 days.
I’ll keep you posted on what else I discover 🔎

There are already 22 events happening during Belgrade Blockchain Week (@belgradebw)!
18 of them are organised by the @solana community, while others include the Web3 Security Summit, Rust Summit, and even Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
And that's not all. I know of around 10 more events that haven't been announced yet, and I believe we'll have more than 50 by the end.

We got so many questions about why ETH Belgrade tickets are free this year. Let us explain.
The past year hasn't been easy for our industry. Teams have become smaller, budgets have tightened, and many talented people have been affected by layoffs.
We wanted to do our part by making it easier for everyone to join us in Belgrade - whether you're a developer, founder, student, researcher, investor, or simply curious about Ethereum.
This year, Solana Summit Serbia will take place alongside ETH Belgrade, under the same roof at Sava Centar.
Many people in our community are also part of the @SuperteamBLKN community, so instead of making attendees choose between ecosystems and events, we want everyone to be able to move freely, meet more people, and experience everything happening in Belgrade.
