Turfgrasses have many benefits in urban areas, however, they can require high maintenance inputs. A-List is focused on working with our members and cooperators to identify low-input high-quality turfgrasses to increase the environmental benefit of turfgrass spaces.

𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗳 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲!! As the 2026 World Cup rages on, modern breeding and sod tech are playing a starring role. @DLFUSA @alistturf varieties are part of the surfaces selected for Estadio Azteca (a new cool‑season blend including SR 4700, Aspiration, Tetrasport, Sombrero and Granite) and BC Place (hybrid sod grown with Gator Cinco and SR 4700). These installations show how science‑backed, low‑input varieties help stadiums meet extreme demands for playability, durability, and recovery. The World Cup is off and running — and top players need a pitch that performs. @alistturf-certified turfgrasses are in play at two World Cup sites (Atlanta and Dallas), where domed stadium conditions push turfgrasses to the limit. Through rigorous, science‑backed trials, @alistturf identifies varieties that deliver exceptional performance under challenging conditions such as heat, drought, lower inputs, OR even a 70,000+ stadium! Stay tuned to learn more about how sustainable science is meeting sports at this World Cup! #AListTurf #TurfScience #WorldCup #LowInputTurf #SportsTurf #SustainableTurf

Last week, our @alistturf team joined industry partners at Pinnacle Ag Research & Consulting (PARC) in Columbia, MO, for their Field Day! We were proud to sponsor the event, and our @DicksonTurf, our Executive Director, spoke about the @alistturf evaluation trials being conducted at PARC under the direction of Dr. Gregg Munshaw and his team! Sharing our work to certify and promote low-input sustainable turfgrasses firsthand helps us confirm what’s working [and what is not!], accelerating the development of science‑backed, low‑input seed solutions for turf managers, growers, and homeowners. Thanks to @TurfPhD and all partners for a productive day of field testing and collaboration! #AListTurf #PARCFieldDay #TurfScience #LowInputTurf #SustainableTurf
