My first and last ever video! I took part in @LinLeadGen 5 day sprint challenge. I completed the challenge to create a video and I am proud I did it, though never want to create a video again!

This month is National Share a Story Month. There is a competition to celebrate reading aloud by organising a special reading event. For example:
* A fancy dress reading event where everyone dresses up as a character from the book as you read.

Look what I found on a trip out to Preston. I love these book sharing boxes. It was a shame I didn't have a book with me to swap.
Do you have anything like this in your local area?

My Mother's day treat yesterday was delicious! We went out for breakfast at a local cafe and I had brioche French toast with southern fried chicken, streaky bacon and maple syrup. It was totally overindulgent but definitely worth it.

World Book Day was one of my favourite days when working as a teacher.
I have fond memories of reading one of my favourite books, Naughty bus, and the children recreating driving buses through a tuff tray filled with real baked beans.

I had a meeting yesterday with my accountability group. We have been together for over 5 years and are great support for each other. We meet regularly to check in and give each other advice. I love being a member and wouldn't be without them.

My half term treat was afternoon tea at the amazing Tower Ballroom in Blackpool yesterday. I went with my dance class and there were 60 of us in total. My favourite dance was the Mayfair Quickstep.
What is your half term treat?

I have proofread online learning projects, lesson plans, school reports, teachers' resource books and children's phonics books.

It is fantastic to receive a hard copy of a book I proofread earlier this year. A son's journey to get to know his father, who died when he was 8 years old. We discover a family he knew nothing about and a father who chose love over duty.
