wake up babe, every version of PHP for the past 17 years has two critical bugs and now 74.5% of the internet is broken lol. there's a patch coming out tomorrow but until then most of the internet has open backdoors that allow unauthorized remote code execution

you treat the elephant in the room either as a threatening mass to tranquillize into submission with a shit ton etorphine to kill the soul of for denial and cope or like a divine manifestation as ganesha letting an elephant be ganesha helps to discover the wisdom in the frightful

LANGUAGE is a FEELING in the body. literally when you talk you can feel the vibrations in your vocal cords and whatnot. furthermore, language indexes different parts of our mind-body schemas, allowing us to traverse our our phenomenology using different tokens. the dialect between language (the head) and the gut (feeling your feelings) is important and shouldn't be disregarded. feeling the "raw data" of feelings comes at a cost if you never give it a resonant handle. the head gives the gut a way to be heard, and the gut gives the head a way to feel without biasing towards combinatorial explosion of INDEXXING phenomenology.
Thinking about feelings isn't feeling your feelings. Talking about feelings isn't feeling your feelings. Writing about your feelings isn't feeling your feelings. Here's how to deeply feel your feelings:

art is not meant to be consumed by yourself I think about all my hard science friends and peers who I wouldn’t have known such intricate details about if not for discovering how they view certain abstractions outside their fields, and that is thanks to images and literature, matters of the heart
I love getting to learn more about the way my friends see through their eyes, the way their brains work, theorize together in niche ways. I’ve grown the habit of sending poems as a gesture of “thought you’d like this” which developed into a newfound realm inside my loved ones

The clearest images NASA has taken of Jupiter's moon ‘Io’ (1999) [via/ NASA]
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The posted images are not authentic 1999 NASA photos of Io. Real Galileo global color views from July 1999 show pastel surfaces at ~1.3 km/pixel; highest-resolution images are small close-ups of limited areas. science.nasa.gov/resource/globa… science.nasa.gov/photojournal/h…

beauty remains unchanged in the dumpster or in the museum, what a delicious difference between encountering a thing and truly seeing it. knowledge doesn’t confer value so much as expand the horizon of your vision - the capacity to truthfully see, and therefore cherish. perhaps this is all that separates the ordinary from the precious how many beautiful things, people, moments have passed through your world unrecognized? remaining beautiful all the same, each with its own biography, its own quiet domain
