Spent an hour on the phone tonight with legal immigrants alledging that good people are getting caught up in ICE operations. Heard them out. My response is, if you want a more ordered process, then state and local leaders need to cooperate with ICE. It's only because there is no cooperation and because ICE is under persistent threat at the behest of Minnesota Democrats, that feds have to resort to unconventional tactics. They'd love to focus on the 1000+ criminal illegals currently held in our prisons and jails. But Walz and company won't cooperate. They'd love to partner with state and local officials to ensure surgical precision. But Minnesota Democrats have intentionally made that impossible. Every sad story. Every ordeal. Every instance of chaos and disorder lies at the feet of Minnesota Democrats, who have explicitly violated the supremacy clause of the US constitution, explicitly delegitimized federal law enforcement, and explicitly fomented and - in some cases - materially supported federal crimes. This is an issue of absolute moral clarity. One side is right. The other is wrong. And it's never been more clear which is which.
