Do you know any young people aged 12-16 years who would like to take part in research? We are running a new online study at UCL looking at how young people think and behave, and would like them to take part. 1/2

more research is needed in community child health. opportunities for those delivering clinical care to have the time & brain space to explore important problems are limited. we are looking for AHPs in community child health with a passion to try research! elft.nhs.uk/working-for-us/j…

Please consider supporting our lab run, in aid of @mndassoc & @sobellhouse. The MNDA supported my dad when he had motor neuron disease (by coincidence he was president of the MNDA for years) and Sobell House hospice looked after him when he was dying 💙 justgiving.com/team/Blakemor…

New findings from the @CatsStudy provides clear evidence of an assoc. between obesity & higher androgen levels in mid-childhood. To manage the risk of metabolic problems in later life, weight management interventions should be considered for mid-childhood. adc.bmj.com/content/early/20…

Test and Trace wasn’t led by healthcare staff. It failed monumentally despite massive investment. The vaccines have been run by healthcare staff and are a resounding success. Who deserves a pay rise? NHS staff💙 🌟Agree? RT🌟 @EveryDoctorUK

Ok, Laurence Fox has 235k followers and campaigns on a platform of hatred. I have 81k followers and campaign on a platform of anti-racism and pro-NHS issues. Can we make my ‘voice’ louder than his on Twitter? Follow and RT me. Let’s do this 👍

For nurses, the proposed 1% pay rise for NHS staff means a real-terms rise of just £3.50 per week. Please RT if you think that's disgusting.

📢 I introduced my Ten Minute Rule Bill in the @HouseofCommonsUK today. My Youth Courts & Sentencing Bill will mean that children who commit crimes before they're 18 are dealt with in youth courts and receive a youth sentence, even if they turn 18 before going to court 1/4

Can't *believe* I just heard the CEO of the largest research funding body in the UK say that the massive overuse of fixed term contracts in academia is necessary because if all postdocs had a permanent contract, there wouldn't be jobs for PhD students. #ECRForumUKRI
