So honored to have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize by Sundial Magazine! And more honored to have the opportunity to write about an incredible woman from my state!
Our fifth #pushcart nomination is the #shortstory "Ada Blackjack" by Alexandra Otto, telling the true story of the Native Inuit woman recuited for Stefansson's 1921 Arctic expedition. And left her there. On her own.

Oh my gosh! I cannot wait for this book! So excited for you @ShatteredSmooth !!
I can finally talk about it! Junk Junction, the spooky middle grade book of my heart with haunted dolls, mannequins, and the cutest shop dog, is going to be a book! @wctracy from Space Wizard Science Fantasy is publishing the print/ebook book & Tantor Media has the audio rights!

ALT The background shows an antique doll beside the words "Junk Junction is getting published." There is also a screenshot of a publisher's marketplace deal report that says "Sara Codair's JUNK JUNCTION, in which a young nonbinary person who can talk with ghosts must save their mother after she's turned into a mannequin by a poltergeist, to Kim Budnick at Tantor Media, by Katie Shea Boutillier at Donald Maass Literary Agency (world English)."
I am so excited for this book!!! Congratulations @HMCWrites !!
