This WSJ story on John Fetterman is wild especially on him blowing off a meeting with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who were concerned about Medicaid cards: “Behind closed doors, the first-term senator shows little interest in doing the job beyond cultivating relationships with conservative media figures and advocating for Israel.” wsj.com/politics/policy/john…

BREAKING: Jake Tapper: “…why were you worried about offending people who support the Ayatollah?”
Abdul El-Sayed: “Jake, on a day where we’re mourning the loss of two more service members in a war we never should have fought I think all of us ought to step back and ask whether or not everybody in Michigan, frankly everybody in America shouldn’t be sad about the fact that this president backed by the prime minister of a foreign government took us to a war we had no business fighting in. So yeah, I didn’t want to comment on it then because it’s a ridiculous pretext, and now you’re asking me about the Ayatollah who’s dead by the way, and you’re not asking me about the service members who’ve died. You’re not asking me about whether or not this war should have ever been fought. You’re not asking me about whether or not the costs that are being borne by Michiganders in the tax dollars we pay or the gas prices that are insane right now, are worth it…”😳

Graham Platner's rise happened entirely outside the Democratic Party's establishment, handpicked by a group of independent activists.
Before a woman Platner was romantically involved with publicly alleged that he sexually assaulted her, WSJ's Aaron Zitner reported on the strategy behind the activists' gamble on the Maine Democratic Senate nominee.
The sexual assault allegation, which Platner denied, has prompted top Senate Democrats and close allies to rescind their endorsements, cut off funding and call for him to drop out.
Sen. Bernie Sanders said on Tuesday that he had spoken with Platner and “in light of these very serious allegations, I have recommended that he step aside.”

In the end, Platner chose as his closing act a page right out of @realDonaldTrump's tawdry playbook.
Deny. Deflect. Refuse responsibility. Play the martyr; slime your accusers.
Platner built an admirable movement.
But there was nothing admirable about the way he said goodbye.

“ Someone explain to me why during the minutes while Charlie was DYING in the back seat of the car— Charlie’s security team was providing updates to Ben Shapiro’s team rather than focusing entirely on saving Charlie’s life and finding the killer?”
Sorry, but she’s right. That’s super weird.
🚨BREAKING NEWS! 🚨
Ben Shapiro just confessed on his show that while Charlie was being transported to the hospital and bleeding out to death, his security was on the phone with Charlie’s security receiving updates.
I knew it.
I knew it.
I knew it
Someone explain to me why during the minutes while Charlie was DYING in the back seat of the car— Charlie’s security team was providing updates to Ben Shapiro’s team rather than focusing entirely on saving Charlie’s life and finding the killer?
I will remind you all that Brian Harpole— one of the security members who was IN that car en route to the hospital, is currently suing me and is using BEN SHAPIRO’S lawyer who has sued me relentlessly on Ben’s behalf for the last 3 years.
@benshapiro hated Charlie. EVERYONE knew that. So why the hell was this demon receiving updates in the mere minutes after Charlie was hit, en route to the hospital?!!
WHO ON CHARLIE’S SECURITY TEAM BETRAYED HIM IN THIS WAY?!
EVERYTHING Ben did following the assassination made my alarm bells go off.
I have told you guys that there is something about the Daily Wire and their relentlessly stalking of me following my firing that has made me feel altogether unsafe. I have felt their obsessive focus on destroying me is deranged and increasingly dangerous.
What did Andrew Kolvet mean when he told me “it was supposed to be you?”
Why did Turning Point betray Charlie so quickly by allowing Ben to open at Amfest after declaring immediately that he would “pick up Charlie’s blood mic”?
Why didn’t Ben mention this before today that he was receiving status updates while Charlie was bleeding out?
I clocked that Ben was TOO invested in this. His energy on stage DEMANDING that Megyn Kelly call me evil and his overprotective stance on Erika always registered to me as deeply nervous.
Ben Shapiro is Satanic. Everything in my soul tells me he worships Satan, literally. Look at his demeanor in this clip.
We need to find out exactly who on Charlie’s team betrayed him by providing immediate updates to this parasite.
Share far and wide.

Obviously not the main point here, but I was raised in a staffer/operative culture where your first instinct was to keep your name out of any story about the principal—and to never BE the story.
I really hope we can find our way back to that. Better for everyone involved.
CNN: Morris Katz, a top campaign strategist for Platner, is set to meet with the embattled candidate in Maine on Wednesday.
Katz, who also is a key adviser to New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, has told associates he does not believe Platner can remain in the race, given the allegations against him.
“This could – and should – end today,” a person close to the campaign told CNN. “We’ll see if it does.”

I’m sorry but “we are taking time to reflect on the best path forward” is not an option on the table. Either it’s false and you campaign with vigor or it’s true and you get out / apologize to everyone you let down.
