15 years ago, I started my @MLS career. Proud of how far the league has come and excited to watch the new generation take it to the next level. Don't forget to have fun!

It was an honor and privilege to spend time in Spain to learn from some of the brightest minds in global football. Grateful for their openness to share their methodology, philosophy, tactics, standards, and culture which has led their World Cup success (men’s/women’s/youth).
Last game of my career, last goal of my career. It obviously destroyed me that I had to retire at age 27 but at least I can say I went out with a bang. 🚀🥺
On this day in 2009, @alecko11 scored a wonder goal in what was the final MLS game of his career, as the Galaxy beat New York Red Bulls 3-1 at Giants Stadium. @landondonovan and Eddie Lewis scored the rest

Happy Father’s Day (World Cup edition) to the man who taught me everything I know!!! Thank you for being the humble legend that you are. Love you, and hoping #TeamMelli brings you a World Cup win today. 💙💪🏼
You heard it here first…. USA and CAPE VERDE!

You’re the man Sam Sarver. I approve and hope you don’t get fined. 😂

Today, @thesoccerdon visited Generation adidas Cup and spent time with those participating in the league’s Talent ID program.
This program, led by @alecko11, includes a network of former @MLS players that evaluate the quality of competition and identify top players at the event.
The group also participates in several training sessions, including signifcant classroom time over the course of six days at Generation adidas Cup.
Check out BTS footage from our @MLS College Showcase - highlighting this pro pathway which has produced so many great players. Love hearing how some of the players had previously “failed” or been overlooked. The path to success is never a straight line!

Thanks for raising this so I can clarify for the entire landscape:
1) No youth player in the US is prevented from registering with ANY youth club
2) MLS rules only apply to MLS clubs
3) FIFA guidance is in place to prevent minors from relocating just to play soccer for a reason
When will we expose the agents/parents who ruin the careers of promising young talents to chase $$$ or clout…? That’s the real story that no one seems to talk about and it’s happening more often than ever.
My love and prayers are with @VanesBoxing family and loved ones. I’m forever grateful for your friendship and support while we represented 🇦🇲🇺🇸 on our professional journeys. Your legacy will always live on. It was an honor, axpers. 👊🏼😔
