6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united. I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍

Replying to @inecnigeria
@inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed.

The best way to get to know the woman you wanna take serious is to go through a period of no money…. Or at least pretend for a period of time.
There’s a Yahoo guy in my compound who spent over ₦10,000,000 on his traditional marriage and wedding last year. After the wedding, everything was going well until he got into trouble with the EFCC. Some of his property and money were seized. When he returned, he started living a more average life because he no longer had the money to fund his expensive lifestyle. Ever since he came back from detention, his wife has been disrespecting him because he can no longer “press money” the way he used to. Last month, their house rent of ₦1,200,000 became due and he couldn’t afford to renew it. He told his wife they would have to move to a cheaper place he could afford. She replied that it would be over her dead body — she refused to live in a poor area.

I never noticed similarities between Fireboy & Omah Lay’s journey before this tweet. The details and data to back them up are undeniable
Fireboy and OMAH LAY started the 2020s with purple themed albums about male loneliness & a ‘more money more problems’ theme Now they continue the decade by cutting their hair, reinventing their sounds, and continuing the battle while shouting out igbó on every other line (1/3)

When you think about it, you realize that Fireboy’s ‘Apollo’ and Omah Lay’s ‘Boy Alone’ have thematic and topical similarities. Both albums seem to be inspired by a second year of experiencing fame. While Omah Lay found hedonistic coping mechanisms in sex, alcohol and smoking,

Nigerians, once INEC finishes its charade in January, we have only one option left. They cannot kill a million of us. Some may die, but they cannot kill us all. They cannot arrest or intimidate us all. We have endured enough. Whatever comes next, we cannot simply go home and accept another four years. The time for silent endurance is over.
Protests in France have turned completely violent over the cost of living 🤯

Just randomly remembered the intense wave of sadness that swept through the whole place after Tinubu was declared winner in 2023. People broke down and were legit crying.
