ACFA was pleased to welcome federal Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister @CornwallHeath and government staff to Strangmuir Farms near Strathmore for a firsthand look at Alberta’s cattle feeding sector.
Joined by representatives from ACFA and @albertabeef, the tour provided an opportunity to discuss key priorities for both ACFA and @NACattleFeeders, including trade, business risk management programs, labour and the issues impacting cattle feeders today.
Thank you to Strangmuir Farms for hosting and to Minister MacDonald and his team for taking the time to hear directly from industry.
