Mothin Ali – apology and Correction
On 18 July 2024, I published a post on my X account in which I stated that Mr Mothin Ali, an elected official and Deputy Leader of the Green Party, was involved in the Harehills riots of July 2024 in which people attacked the police.
That statement was incorrect. In fact, Mr Ali was asked by the police to use his position of trust in the community to help bring about peace on the streets. Mr Ali attended the scene for that purpose alone. He was not involved in the disorder or violence in any way, and on the contrary he was one of the principal reasons of bringing an end to the disorder. I offer my sincere apologies to Mr Ali for my post, the harm I caused, and I have agreed to pay him compensation to vindicate his reputation.

Can - Halleluwah
Eight colossal minutes of industrial-strength funk. Monotonic, yet ever-changing: a slow-burning rhythmic monster. There's funk, and then there's Can’s version of funk.

Magazine - "Shot By Both Sides". (Live 1979). These guys are widely seen as post-punk pioneers. While "Shot By Both Sides" still packs that raw, urgent punk energy, it brings a much tighter structure to the table, driven by a heavy-ass bassline and a dark, cerebral vibe.

Clarification: Sky News was not at the property at 7.41am. As has already been acknowledged, and as shown in the footage from 10.19am, Sky News was outside a property where Mr Farage was registered to vote at the last election. Sky News did not interact with Mr Farage’s daughter.
On a single occasion, we approached the property without a camera operator, identified ourselves as Sky News, and the adult occupant chose not to engage. We were seeking to contact Mr Farage to ask questions about the gift he accepted from Mr Cottrell. This is a well-established and routine journalistic practice when reporting on matters of legitimate public interest.
The footage clearly demonstrates that Sky News did not “hound” or pursue Mr Farage’s daughter. At no stage did we seek to speak to anyone other than Mr Farage in connection with this story.

Cat check: Jenkyns is a former Conservative government minister, who was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire by former Tory Prime Minister Boris Johnson and was married to a then MP who became deputy Chair of the Conservative Party. It is unclear what she considers "the establishment" to be.

This is one of many serious questions that mainstream media have never asked Joe Biden.
How could his errant son have earned these huge sums of money without his father’s influence as Vice President?
