One of the most moving things I read about Han Kang was how she dragged a cloth through a Norwegian forest before wrapping it around her unseen book, locked away for 95 years.
She described it as a wedding of her manuscript with the forest or a lullaby for a century-long sleep

Poem by Stephen Crane.

ALT Text of poem: In the Desert III In the desert I saw a creature, naked, bestial, Who, squatting upon the ground, Held his heart in his hands, And ate of it. I said, “Is it good, friend?” “It is bitter—bitter,” he answered; “But I like it Because it is bitter, And because it is my heart.” Stephen Crane (November 1st 1871 - June 5th 1900)
