BLACKLISTED BY RUSSIA. WORN AS A BADGE OF HONOUR. Putin’s regime has officially declared Ukrainian Freedom Convoys (UFC) an “undesirable organisation”. We wear this as a badge of honour! As UFC leader Ole Kvåle stated: “I see it as a recognition of the work we do with Ukrainian soldiers.” When a dictatorship blacklists volunteers for helping Ukraine defend itself, we know we’re doing something right. Putin can blacklist us, but he can’t stop us. The convoys will keep rolling! Slava Ukraini! Source: thebarentsobserver.com/news/… #NAFO #Ukraine #UkrainianFreedomConvoys

Left: President Trump insults Norway calling it a sh*thouse country Right: Visit Norway, the tourism board, trolls President Trump, displaying some of their best toilets on their Instagram 😅 My view: Trump chose to insult Norway. Visit Norway answered with humour, confidence and a showcase of its most beautiful loos. That’s how you turn an insult into an invitation. Congratulations to Norway for responding with such grace - and giving us another reason to visit. I've never been to Norway, but this is just another reason to visit 😁

BREAKING: George W. Bush's brother Neil just dropped a BOMB on MAGA by proudly announcing that he voted for James Talarico in the Texas Senate race. This just gave Republicans a flashing green light to vote blue... "I have never posted a political message on Facebook not wanting to offend friends whose views may be very different than mine. I'm breaking that tradition because I voted early today, and I voted for James Talarico for the United States Senate," Bush, the child of the late President George H.W. Bush wrote on Facebook. "My vote was motivated by two things: deep concern about Ken Paxton's record and genuine admiration for the character and principles I see in James Talarico," he continued. "I have been deeply troubled by Paxton's conduct as Texas Attorney General, particularly his decision to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election in other states in an effort to help Donald Trump remain in power. I believe that effort was an affront to our democratic institutions and the peaceful transfer of power. My concerns about his judgment and conduct are hardly mine alone. He was impeached by the Republican-controlled Texas House, although subsequently acquitted by the Texas Senate." "More broadly, I believe Donald Trump and those who have enabled him have done enormous damage to the Republican Party. I worry about a political culture in which loyalty to an individual takes precedence over loyalty to principle, and where those who hold power begin to believe they are no longer accountable." "But my vote today was about much more than opposition to Ken Paxton." "I've never met James Talarico, but I have been enormously impressed by the way he approaches complicated and controversial issues. He speaks with respect, seeks common ground, and seems genuinely interested in bringing people together rather than driving them apart. His faith appears to be a deeply rooted source of humility, compassion, and conviction rather than a political weapon." I see in him the qualities I admire most in public servants: integrity, civility, humility, and a willingness to listen to those with whom he disagrees. My impression is that he is a principled, pragmatic leader who understands that public office is a responsibility to serve, not an entitlement to power." "I have been a Republican for most of my life, and I still believe deeply in many traditional Republican principles. But character matters more than party affiliation. Our democracy depends on leaders who respect our institutions, tell the truth, accept accountability, and seek to unite rather than divide." "Today, I voted against a style of politics that I believe has damaged our country. More importantly, I voted for the kind of character and leadership I hope will help heal it," he concluded. Bravo, Mr. Bush! We commend you for speaking out boldly during these crucial midterm elections. Ken Paxton is a stone-cold crook who was impeached for bribery by his own party as state attorney general. He has zero interest in serving the people of Texas if he wins and will instead work to line his own pockets, accumulate personal power, and rubber-stamp Trump's destructive agenda. Meanwhile, James Talarico is a devout Christian who is committed to fighting for better healthcare, an end to pointless wars, livable wages, more housing construction to restore the American Dream, and banning Congressional stock trading. The Bush family still wields a great deal of influence in Texas, so this announcement is sure to cause political shockwaves. If you're a Republican who genuinely loves this country, it's time to cross the aisle and vote for James Talarico. Please ❤️ and share to thank Neil Bush!

BREAKING: Billionaire Sir Richard Branson unleashes a SCORCHING attack on Trump and his disgusting cozying up to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that gets under Trump's skin... "I thought I’d never have to say this in my lifetime, but this is 2026, and sadly nothing is what it used to be," Branson, the founder of Virgin Group, wrote on LinkedIn. "The Trump administration has become an appeaser to autocrats and dictators, putting their personal whims before the best interests of the American people and those of the free world. What is it about Putin that President Trump fawns over?" "How will America’s allies ever be able to trust this administration again when they are now turning against them at a time of war and suffering?" he asked. Trump has repeatedly betrayed our Ukrainian allies in recent days. First, he announced a stunning deal with Putin to allow millions of barrels of diesel into the global markets, a move that will directly pump money into the Russian war machine. Then, he began a concerted smear campaign against President Zelenskyy and said that Putin is easier to deal with. The backstabbing escalated when Washington failed to provide its usual early warning to Kyiv of an incoming Russian ballistic missile attack. Now, it appears that the White House ordered a temporary disruption of Starshield, a military version of Elon Musk's Starlink that the Ukrainian armed forces rely upon. "The slowdown of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable lack of advance warning of Russian missile launches have already caused Ukrainian civilians to die unnecessarily," wrote Branson. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear it’s that European leaders must overcome the initial shock about Trump’s recent actions and step up to the plate. It’s as much about Europe’s freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "All options should be on the table now, from the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine to the delivery of advanced weapons systems such as Germany’s Taurus." "Why oh why is this happening? We cannot let the free world be dismantled before our very eyes," Branson concluded. We couldn't agree more. Trump is an enemy to Ukraine, an enemy to democracy, and an enemy to the American people. When Democrats retake power, we have our work cut out for us. Every last trace of this monstrous man's legacy must be erased. Please ❤️ and share if you think that Trump is Putin's puppet!

On April 9, 1940, Germany invaded Norway. Ten German destroyers raced into Narvik carrying 2,000 mountain troops and took the town in a few hours. Why Narvik? Iron ore. In winter, Swedish ore that fed the German war machine came by rail to this ice-free port and then down the Norwegian coast. Whoever held Narvik held the tap. That same morning, two old Norwegian coastal defense ships tried to fight. Both were torpedoed. Around 280 Norwegian sailors died in minutes. Captain Bernard Warburton-Lee, a Welshman commanding the Royal Navy's 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, was ordered to stop any German landing at Narvik. He had 5 destroyers: Hardy, Hunter, Havock, Hotspur and Hostile. He stopped at a small pilot station on the way in to ask the locals what was up ahead. The Norwegians told him six large warships and a submarine, and that he'd need twice as many ships. He radioed London. The Admiralty's answer was basically: you're the only one who can judge this. We'll back whatever you decide. His reply said he intended to attack at dawn, at high water. The Germans actually had 10 destroyers, not 6. He went anyway. Up 30 miles of narrow fjord, at night, in a snowstorm, with no reliable charts of the harbor. What he didn't know was that luck was on his side. The Germans had only one tanker in port, so their destroyers were spread out, taking turns refueling. Some were tucked away in side fjords. The ones in the harbor weren't expecting company. At 4:30 in the morning, Hardy slipped into Narvik harbor and fired torpedoes into the anchored ships. The German flagship Wilhelm Heidkamp blew up. The commodore in charge of the entire German force, Friedrich Bonte, was killed. The destroyer Anton Schmitt was torn in half. Others were badly damaged. Merchant ships all over the harbor were sunk or burning. Warburton-Lee made three passes. Then he turned for home. As his flotilla headed back down the fjord, five more German destroyers came out of the side fjords and caught them in a crossfire. A shell hit Hardy's bridge. Almost everyone on it was killed or wounded. Warburton-Lee was hit in the head and mortally wounded. The ship's paymaster, Lieutenant Geoffrey Stanning, a supply officer with no business steering a warship, staggered to the wheel wounded and kept her moving. With her boilers wrecked and her captain dying, Hardy was run aground on the Norwegian shore so the crew could get off. Warburton-Lee's last signal to his flotilla: "Continue to engage the enemy." Hunter was hit, then rammed by Hotspur, whose steering had been shot away. Hunter went down with most of her crew. The survivors kept fighting their way out. On the way, they met a German supply ship heading up the fjord loaded with ammunition. They opened fire. It exploded so violently it was described as one of the biggest blasts of the campaign. Hardy's crew carried their captain ashore through the snow. He died on the beach. The local Norwegians took in the frozen, wounded British sailors, sheltered them in their homes and fed them, while German troops were only miles away. Three days later, the battleship HMS Warspite came up the same fjord with nine destroyers. Every remaining German destroyer at Narvik was sunk or scuttled. Warspite's little floatplane even sank a U-boat, the first U-boat sunk by an aircraft in the war. Germany started WWII with 22 destroyers. It lost 10 of them at Narvik. Nearly half its destroyer fleet, gone in four days. That shortage would haunt the Kriegsmarine when Hitler later dreamed of invading Britain. Bernard Warburton-Lee received the Victoria Cross. It was the first VC awarded in the Second World War. He never went home. He's buried in Ballangen, Norway, a short distance from where Hardy ran aground, in the country he died trying to defend.

I hear the SNL writers have quit because they can’t come up with a sketch that’s anywhere near as insane as the actual events in the Oval Office.
