ALL SOULS DAY!
For the ones we've loved and lost,
Lord, have mercy!
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Amen!

If you source your goods from outside Kenya, read & understand this. It will save you.
From next week, November 1, KRA has announced that all imports, goods coming to Kenya, must be insured by a Kenyan insurance company. Not a foreign insurance company.
KRA has sworn that it will block goods from customs clearance if they are not insured locally.
Here is what you need do to avoid business disruptions.
1. Review your supplier contracts. If you import under CIF terms, check who is arranging and paying for insurance. Consider CFR or FOB for future shipments, so you can arrange local insurance without paying twice.
2. Arrange your digital insurance early. Find a Kenyan insurer and confirm how to obtain the Digital MCI certificate and have it transmitted to iCMS before your clearing agent lodges the customs declaration.
3. Talk to your clearing agent now. Identify shipments already in transit or due to arrive after Nov 1. Don't wait until your goods reach Mombasa to discover that Kenyan insurance certificate is needed.
4. Check shipments already booked under CIF. Speak to your supplier about the existing insurance cost before buying another policy. Agree on any changes or credit in writing.
This change affects not only orders placed after November 1, but also goods already on the waters that arrive after October.
Plan early.

Incredible failure.
This is over a year of continuous construction happening in broad daylight that The County was unable to see???
And yet you can't even paint your house without them pulling up.
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja says the multi-storey building that collapsed along 9th Street in Eastleigh was under construction without the required approvals, despite an application for a 15-storey building with a basement having been submitted.
Sakaja says the county has forwarded documentation to the DCI for investigations and called for accountability among the developer and professionals involved, including the architect and engineer on record.

Sometimes, you think life is dealing with you the hardest until you hear what someone else is going through. Your pain is valid, but may we never become so consumed by what we lack that we forget to thank God for what we have today. There is still so much to be grateful for. ❤️

His name is Amos Boaz, his profile is @HammerHamm026 a Communications Officer in the Office of the Trans Nzoia Governor @GeorgeNatembeya he has been taken at gunpoint in Kitale town by the DCI.
Kindly help us amplify so that they can officially and lawfully present him to a police station and we can confirm he is alive and well.
Under this regime we have seen young men and women die even in police cells so we demand his release as we call out the clear harassment of Commando by the state!
Shame on you Kasongo!

When Franco decided to do a piece, he did it so well; I suspect he did this knowing that his songs would be played even after he's long gone.
Vocals: Franco backed up by Youlou and Lola Chècain.
This is a campaign song, Luambo rallying behind Justin Bomboko, who served as foreign affairs minister in the first regime of DRC Congo under Joseph Kasavubu as 1st president.
In mid 70s, there was an election and Bomboko (reportedly, Franco's relative) was running for an elective seat in the upper house.
Franco portrays Bomboko as an experienced politician who would live up to people's expectations.
