Smeagle would approve. A new rescue is filling his dog bed, playing with his toys and drinking from his bowl. Meet Buddy. And he’s defo a dog. Though I can understand any confusion.

too much discourse here on how to date, how to get rich, and how to be fit. not enough discourse on how to make yourself useful to others, such as by adopting a cat or a dog.

In Luxembourg the average state pension for 40 years of contributions is nearly 4x higher than in the U.K. Far from being unaffordable the UK State pension is a joke, what is unaffordable is the tax evasion which leaves us with so little money to spend.

Politicians will vote to raise the retirement age to 70, then retire at 55 with full pension and lifetime healthcare. The rules they write never apply to them. Austerity is for citizens. Security is for legislators.

I borrowed £43,871 when I went to uni and graduated in 2020. I have been paying off my Plan 2 student loan since April 2021. Today, my balance is £89,861.50. Back in August 2024 my interest rate was 8% each month. To put that into context, that’s £590.90, and I could only afford to pay £115.00. How is this fair? In 2016 I was told it would feel like a household bill or a trip to the cinema. Now it’s the difference between getting on the property ladder or staying in rented flat shares. Every month, to this day, £307.30 of interest is added to my bill. And I’m projected to pay 9% of my salary for the next 25 years to repay my student loan. This has to end. A Restore Britain government will fix this injustice and will always put British men and women first.
An important policy announcement. A Restore Britain Government will abolish interest on all student loans held by British nationals living in our country, including the removal of interest already accrued. A party backing young British men and women. assets.nationbuilder.com/res…

This is more unsustainable than the state pension.
King Charles inherited £650m tax free, gets £354m a year tax free from the tax payer including £132m personal spending money and has an estate worth £22bn that’s never taxed. Like if he needs a pay cut. RT if you want the Monarchy gone. #NotmyKing

Tesco has 20,000 employees on their basic £13ph The majority of these claim income support. That taxpayers money should be deducted from Tesco's annual pretax profit of £2.4 BILLION We should NOT all be helping Tesco shareholders. Same for ALL major low pay employers. BURNHAM?

Struggling to get housed in London? Hammersmith & Fulham just recovered 18 council homes in a £700k fraud probe. One "tenant" claiming overcrowding was actually living in the USA on a US passport under another name. Westminster's even worse: bloke near Buckingham Palace illegally rented his council flat, bought it under Right to Buy with a whopping £100k discount, ordered to pay back £500k. Another rented their Soho place on Airbnb while living in France. Waiting lists stacked & fraudsters laughing. Who runs these councils? Labour & Tories 🙄 standard.co.uk/news/politics…
