Rule 1 of entrepreneurship, no one owes you anything
Much before ecosystem, there are individual incentives. VC exists to return to LPs not to do the greater good.
If the deeptech startup can't return then VC has no incentive to invest
Ecosystem only exists at angel stage and I think there is plenty and more thats happening there.
My X feed is filled with househelp startups burning enormous amounts of capital to capture market share.
Meanwhile, I know multiple deep-tech startups generating significantly more revenue with far less burn, yet struggling to raise even a fraction of that capital.
To me, this is one of the biggest problems with our ecosystem.
We say we want to build products in India for the world, but we invest far less in the future than the US does.
We cannot become a deeptech powerhouse if our capital keeps chasing the present instead of funding the future.

Indian socialist brain is yet to understand that extreme experimentation is part of discovering new possibilities. Even if an experiment doesn’t work as expected, there is nothing to look down upon, as long as there is no malpractice.
Private capital is smart enough to know what experiments to try and what not to. Why no scrutiny on 10-100x wasted in every government department that’s taxpayer money wasted?
Non-trivial probability AI never actually discovers new physics. Just remixes what we already know, really well.
Meanwhile humans outsource all thinking to AI and lose the ability to discover anything new.
Then neither can. Civilizational progress stalls.
Concerning.
Humans aren't born with a goal, we wander, wonder and just tinker with things and some of these things ends up being transformational for humanity
Our AI agents are born with a goal. They should be allowed to wonder and wander in between sessions and probably tinker.

They failed miserably because of their bad planning and want to make hay while the sun shines by moving against City.

If you know how to live you have nowhere to live in India
'I can now live where I want, in clean air, running through nature, walking through urban beauty, living in private austerity and public splendour. This means I have to leave India. Because most of the country is a mofussil hellhole in the smog.'

They just need to do one more little thing: sell Rico Lewis
The reason why Man City continue to challenge is because they’re not afraid to spend money, they’re not afraid to also move on from a player that failed.
They signed Savinho, they signed Marmoush, and both didn’t work out. They have moved on and now trying something else. Now they have gone to sign Iliman Ndiaye.
There’s no team in the Premier League that moves with that level of ruthlessness.
And this is something we sometimes overlook when we talk about City’s dominance. It’s not just about having money, it’s about how willing they are to use it. They don’t get emotionally attached to signings. They don’t keep players for years simply because they spent big money on them.
If something isn’t working, they fix it.
If a position needs upgrading, they go into the market.
If a player becomes available that they believe can improve the squad, they make the move.
That mentality is a massive reason why they’ve been able to stay at the top for so long. Other clubs can spend £100m on a player and then spend three years trying to justify the decision. City will spend the money, assess the player and if it doesn’t work, they move on.
They’re constantly refreshing the squad while still competing for everything.
You can question some of their individual decisions, but you can’t question the ruthlessness behind the way they build this team.
