By age 35 you should have said goodbye to at least three social media sites, four forums, seven listservs, six email addresses, eight Google services, two MMOs (MUDs count!), a self-hosted website and a geocites page.
This is the kinda of thing I will miss most about twitter—the nearly-instant, random connections you can make with people of any specialty or interest, just by reaching out with a question.

Did Twitter Blue tweet just cost Eli Lilly $LLY billions?
Yes.
"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government."
The biggest mistake Musk made is taking away people's blue checks for impersonation.
If he really wanted to make Twitter profitable, he should have charged $8 to remove a blue check.
Wait, better yet, charge $8 to remove someone else's blue check

Elon Musk does not have a Twitter account, anyone who claims to be the "real" Elon Musk is a fraud.
I'm tired of people saying Elon Musk made parody illegal on Twitter.
Nobody is parodying Elon Musk more than himself.
The biggest miscalculation he made is underestimating just how much everyone who uses this site hates it and is ready to burn it to the ground to spite him
I have discovered a truly marvelous way to defeat the bots & trolls, which this tweet is too narrow to contain. I will explain the rationale in longer form before this is implemented.
ugh why did I wait till the day before halloween to pick up some contact cement. hardware store's shelves looked like early-pandemic grocery stores
That 30 minutes included driving to the hardware store where I was in such a rush I, uh, apparently left the car running while I ran inside to get some black duct tape.
