The fact there is no law in China against this is telling. To me this is representative of the huge cultural gap between China and the West. There are many things I like and admire about Chinese culture, but this is absolutely not one of them. Iran, an ancient civilization that has been under Islamist occupation for one and a half millennia. If Japan is one analogy, another, perhaps a closer one, is India.
