The night SNL turned into a blues club. On March 19, 1977, Dr. John brought New Orleans to Studio 8H, joined by Levon Helm of The Band and blues harmonica great Paul Butterfield. The Meters performed that night too. #SNL #DrJohn #LevonHelm #PaulButterfield #TheMeters
