When this all kicked off the noise of the internet was too much and I sought a place where we can still meet and have useful, wholesome and edifying conversation where people share skills and knowledge. A Virtual school was a result of that. #athread of what we have done so far

ANNOUNCING THE BLACK IMAGINATION FUND, where we’re offering 4x micro-funds of £500 to Black organisations, groups or individuals based in the Midlands to takeover YARD with events that respond to the provocation: What if YARD became a portal for sanctuary? 💜
ALT As capitalism hurtles us through more violence, more catastrophe, more collapse, how can we create spaces which offer refuge from these systems of violence? How can we slow down and reorient our relationship to ourselves, the people and the land around us? How can we build sanctuaries? As part of our Radical Imagination Lab: Space in the Black Imagination, MAIA is offering four pots of £500 funding for Black organisations, groups or individuals to takeover YARD for a day and deliver events which respond to the provocation: What if YARD became a portal for sanctuary?

The power of someone thinking of you is a miracle, like you appear in their imagination, in their thought, forever blown away by that unprovoked kindness. I'm thinking of all you, stay blessed and let joy enter.

Not wishy washy commodified focus, but a deep appreciation for what you hold dear, the present moment and the potentiality of that relation to a meaningful more connected future.
