For months Ministers have been telling us that there is no reason to be concerned about teachers' risks from #COVID19 in schools. This data released from Dept for Education tells us otherwise: teachers are 1.9x more likely to be infected with covid than the general population.
.@educationgovuk data released show on average the rate of Covid-19 infection is 1.9 times higher amongst primary & secondary teachers than the general population, & 2 times higher for special school teachers.
