If the Covid pandemic is over, why is the 13th wave of Covid infections spreading in an uncontrolled fashion, impacting healthcare services globally now, you know, the very definition of a pandemic?

Lab confirmed Flu A cases jumped nearly **70%** here this week. Lab confirmed Covid cases have *quadrupled* in a month. Mask up. It's as simple as that. Mask up. FFP2/N95+, wherever you go in public.

Which young people are getting vaccinated over & over in the UK? None. Which young people are being infected with Covid over & over? All of them.
I’ve just watched a whole BBC documentary about the rapid increase in cancer among the young.. It explored food & lifestyle choices, even body sprays & plastics. Not once tho, did they explore whether getting young healthy people vaccinated over & over with a product that had no long term health data, may have played a role🤔

Here in the UK, we're now in the eighth school year since the start of the pandemic. We are also in the midst of the thirteenth wave of Covid-19. Illness... Harm... Change... Disruption... It's never stopped. 🧵

To those following the science, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear that infections cause cancer. Many studies have shown that Covid infections can reactivate dormant cancer cells and trigger the growth of secondary cancers. buds.org.uk/covid-and-cancer…
Covid-19 infections can reactivate dormant cancer cells, & trigger the growth of secondary cancers. There is now compelling medical evidence to this effect. Read the full story on our website: buds.org.uk/covid-and-cancer…

We spent decades teaching people that cancer is mostly bad luck, bad genes, or bad habits. Then you find out 2.3 million cases in a single year were attributable to infections.

We should not wait decades to ask whether another preventable infection has long-term consequences. Prevention matters.
Research matters.
And protecting people from infection matters.

A friend has Covid right now. They have lost their sense of smell and they're having cognitive problems. This hit me today, as it often does: we made, and continue to make, a huge collective mistake in allowing a virus that impacts the brain to transmit unmitigated globally.

I am so grateful that my work taught me this over and over again. I talk about my Dad and say his name every day. My mum says she loves that
“..the recently dead are more or less erased and often not mentioned for fear of upsetting us. I can tell you now— mention away. Most of us want to hear their names and remember them with you. If we do get upset, well, we are mostly upset already.” thetimes.com/life-style/heal…

It's Year 7 of this, and we have hospitals saying - in September! - "sorry, we're full" with all of the knock-on consequences of corridor 'care' and healthcare avoidance and unnecessary mortality It's shit. @andyburnham, @YvetteCooperMP - this is completely avoidable

6/ that means from long Covid /SARS2 we have over a million new POTS cases in the UK alone!!! And millions more world wide. SARS2 is a vasculotropic and neurotropic virus that is causing a massive global burden of chronic disease - estimated to cost the global economy 6/

I’m sorry Poppy but Dr Susanne O’Sullivan is talking nonsense about a medical specialty she has ZERO expertise in. It is both outrageous, ableist and misogynistic to assume conditions like POTS (which affect women more than men) are psychosomatic. This is not supported by 1/

Imagine being baffled by mass disability after a mass disabling event, and then being baffled by people being angry that you've told them it's all in their heads.
Why are so many young women being diagnosed with chronic health conditions? I investigated for the Telegraph:
