OK, there is something very, very weird going on in the press right now.
It certainly appears, from the outside, as if certain people are being very much protected in a way that was not afforded to certain other people!
Let's start with the facts around Lola Salem...

Apparently it’s nearly evening meal time
Which obviously means it’s time for a pre-dinner snack.
Just a little something to keep my strength up until the actual dinner arrives.
I’d hate to waste away during the next seven minutes.

Plans to grow Peterborough’s visitor economy are set to be considered by Cabinet.
The proposals aim to attract more visitors, encourage people to stay longer and increase spending with local businesses, helping to support jobs and the wider city economy.
They include strengthening the role of Peterborough Tourist Board, continuing to promote the city through Discover Peterborough and working more closely with partners across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Cabinet will consider the plans on Thursday 1 October.

ALT A high-angle shot depicts a bustling outdoor market square filled with people on a clear, sunny day. In the background stands the historic Peterborough Guildhall, a stone building featuring an arched open ground floor, a clock tower with a cross at its peak, and a detailed coat of arms below the clock. In the foreground, people walk around, chat, and sit at white folding tables under market stalls. At the bottom of the image, a green graphic banner contains an information icon on the left. Beside it, white text reads: "Plans to grow Peterborough’s visitor economy. Cabinet will consider plans to attract more visitors, encourage longer stays and increase tourism spending across Peterborough."

So Danny Tommo has now decided to slash an inflatable boat in The English Channel while an emergency worker was on board. He did warn him to get off the boat though, which was so thoughtful of him, and other vessels were very close by, but as soon as he stabbed it his own boat sped off in an incredible moment of bravery.
Anyway, to commemorate this numbnuts putting an emergency worker in grave danger, here’s my link to donate to the RNLI - rebrand.ly/imvl9mb. I’m only doing this to counteract the sheer number of idiots celebrating this news. I’ll get dogs abuse on here for doing this. I. Do. Not. Care.
Also, if someone can identify who this poor sod in orange was working for and they have a fundraising link as well, please message me and I’ll add it.

Instead of saying:
“I’m struggling…”
Try:
“I am being severely inconvenienced by circumstances that are quite clearly not of my making.

Today is #HobbitDay because Bilbo and Frodo Baggins were both born on September 22nd.
Normally we'd shire a hobbit pun or two but it might just feel like a tolkien gesture and we don't want to embarrass our elves.
Anyway it's a good day to come and boromir #Tolkien books. 📚

You don’t have to have everything figured out today.
Sometimes it’s enough to turn up, do your best, have a little snack and look as though you know exactly what you’re doing.
I’ve built an entire career on it
