🚨 SIGNIFICANT PULSEVM DEVELOPMENT — 17 October 2026 Look, a meaningful milestone has emerged in the official Metal Blockchain GitHub repository. XPR Network → A-Chain migration rehearsal succeeds On 16 October 2026, a PulseVM developer published results from a successful end-to-end migration rehearsal using Amazon EC2 infrastructure. The test demonstrated a controlled handover from an XPR-style blockchain to a five-node PulseVM network. Reported results: ✅ Three-node XPR test network successfully halted. ✅ Five-node PulseVM network restored the transferred blockchain state. ✅ Block 311 successfully continued from the original chain's block 310. ✅ All four checked account states matched. ✅ All ten boundary transactions passed checks for duplication or loss. ✅ A resilience test passed with four of five PulseVM nodes operating. ✅ A two-thirds weighted validator quorum verification mechanism was implemented and tested. The developer reports that the complete EC2 rehearsal passed twice. GitHub Why this matters This is more significant than demonstrating that PulseVM can import XPR blockchain data. The developers have now demonstrated a controlled handover in a test environment, including transaction continuity, state preservation and validator resilience. That directly addresses several technical challenges involved in eventually moving XPR Network infrastructure onto A-Chain. Important distinction This is not a live XPR Mainnet migration. The work is currently in draft pull request #129, awaiting integration. The developer explicitly identifies several unfinished requirements, including the real validator halt procedure, governance-related implementation and exchange, gateway and blockchain-history service transitions. The successful tests are reported by the contributor, not independently audited production results. However, there is still no verified evidence from this development of additional $METAL transaction fees, token demand or institutional revenue. The next major confirmation will be the integration of these changes and successful testing against the requirements of a real Mainnet transition. Infrastructure first. Production next.
