So if you're running a funding arbitrage strategy, you can potentially earn 6.25x more than you used to. Of course, there's a downside too: if funding goes against your position, you'll also be paying 6.25x more. For example, if funding is positive and you're long, you'll have to pay 6.25x the usual amount I think this update makes position holding more important than raw trading volume on QFEX, and that's actually a good thing. Want to earn from funding right now? No problem, QFEX gives you that opportunity, but you'll receive fewer points for it (based on the current retrospective points system). Didn't make money from funding? No problem either.
