Well, that’s not something you see in the backyard every day. Mike Miller near Biwabik in northern Minnesota captured this lynx wandering right up close to their house. “It almost seemed like it walked slowly right up toward the window to make sure we got a good look at it.”

The Minnesota Twins have just 9 home games left this season.
They are 248,174 fans shy of their 2025 attendance, which was the lowest mark since 2000.
They'd need to average 27,575 fans in those games to surpass 2025.
They are averaging just 21,118 tickets sold per game.
For the second straight year, the Pohalds will have put out a product that has generated the least amount of interest in a quarter-century.

Max Strus says making the NBA required him to accept he doesn’t have a bag anymore and that shooting got him on the floor but defense would keep him out there
“I don’t have a bag. I used to have a bag back in college, but I don’t anymore because you find what your niche is and you just go at it.”
“I knew shooting the basketball was going to get me on the floor, and then I knew playing defense was going to keep me on the floor. I’ll guard the best player. I don’t care. They’re going to score on me because everybody’s that good. You can’t really stop anybody anyway.”
“So it’s like, how can I make it as tough as possible on them? I don’t need to shoot the ball. I’m all right. I can do other things that I know are helping the team win. How can I make Donovan Mitchell better? How can I make James Harden better? How can I make Jarrett Allen better?”
“If I feel like I haven’t gotten a shot, it’s like, all right, go crash the offensive rebound and get it. I’m not going to sit here and cry to myself about not shooting the ball or not being involved. Make yourself useful.”
“My first couple years [in Miami], I don’t think I dribbled the ball once. Come off a handoff and shoot, come off a screen and shoot, and then defend and rebound. That’s all I did.”
“As you continue to build more confidence within the team, within the coach, they put you in positions where, all right, now I can do a little bit more.”
“You’ve got to have the humbleness to humble yourself to, ‘I’m not that guy anymore. I can’t be that guy anymore.’ But then be ready for the opportunity when it does come, ‘No, I could still be that guy. That’s just not what we need right now. But when we do, I got you.’”

-gyms exist
-Coke Zero exists
-hot girls outnumber put-together dudes 2000 to 1
-you and your wife can get drunk at a dimly-lit steakhouse then smash all night without a condom
-you and your friends can hit the gym then smoke a joint at a Coldplay concert
There are people who live in wheelchairs. There are kids born with disabilities. No Prom, no Shoulder Presses, no sleepovers with their best friends staying up til 2AM watching Interstellar.
And you’re not SMASHING the gym like a GRATEFUL SAVAGE!? Eating healthy 90% of the time, calling your friends for no reason, CRUSHING it in your career, ASKING for the raise!? Asking out your crush making her your girlfriend then your wife!?
You’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle - you’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)

If Lindsay Clancy is found innocent because hormones made her emotionally unstable, women better be very careful celebrating that verdict.
Because the law loves PRECEDENT.
From that day forward, every job application is going to have a new question:
“Are you currently hormonal?”
“Well, I’m a woman.”
“Thank you. I think we’ll be going in another direction.”
You can’t carry a weapon anymore. No female police officers. Sorry, but we cannot hand a loaded gun to somebody whose legal defense might eventually be, “My hormones were acting up.”
No more high-stress jobs, either. No air-traffic controllers. No surgeons. No nuclear-launch codes. One bad hot flash and boom 💥 Canada is glowing.
And women definitely can’t be judges. How can you decide whether somebody else is emotionally stable when your own gender just established in court that hormones can make you kill three people?
No female politicians, either. You can’t be trusted to run the country if, according to your own argument, your endocrine system occasionally takes over the government.
And custody hearings are going to change overnight.
The judge will say, “Ordinarily, children belong with their mother. However, according to the Lindsay Clancy precedent, she may be only one hormone away from a Netflix documentary. The children go with Dad.”
Dad doesn’t know their shoe sizes, the pediatrician’s name or which one is allergic to peanuts, but his testosterone has never been successfully used as an insanity defense.
Feminists spent a hundred years saying women are not hysterical, irrational creatures controlled by their biology and one defense attorney walks into court and says, “Ladies and gentlemen of the jury… have you considered the uterus?”
You cannot demand equal authority and then ask for discounted accountability.
If women want equal rights, great. But equal rights come with equal wrongs.
Otherwise, that glass ceiling is about to become a padded ceiling.
