Today, the Iranian regime executed U.S. green card holder Jamshid Sharmahd, who lived in Los Angeles for over two decades. This could have been me. Listen to his daughter on 60 Minutes.
I wish the U.S. hadn’t left him behind in their prisoner swap.

Ukrainan journalist Viktoria Roschina has died in Russian custody.
She was just 27.
Captured and imprisoned in the Russian-occupied zone of Ukraine’s Zaporizhia Oblast, she spent over a year in captivity.
According to Ukraine’s military intel service, Viktoria was supposed to get back home soon as part of prisoner swaps between Russia and Ukraine.
It’s painful to even try and have a brief thought about what Russia could do to her to precipitate the death of a 27-year-old woman in captivity.
Putin’s Russia is a criminally insane maniac of a state.
@NorthHigh1 I'm researching the origin of a quote chosen to appear at the very start of the North Attleboro High School yearbook for 1970. (It's the earliest printing of the quote anywhere.) Might any alumni from the 1970 yearbook staff be around to ask about the quote's origin?
The text of the quote reads, ''Don't walk ahead of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and just be my friend.” This appearance of the quote (mid-1970) appears to predate the earliest known printing by at least a year archive.org/details/northern…

As an #adidas board member, Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee can use her power to compel the company to stop killing kangaroos for shoes and to switch to #crueltyfree materials. Please click this link send her an automated letter:

In Australia, commercial hunters kill an estimated one million #kangaroo adults each year. Hundreds of thousands of female victims are mothers with joeys, who the shooters either bludgeon to death, as mandated by the government, or leave to die of starvation or predation.
The nightly kangaroo hunt is brutal, and it violates Adidas's own corporate animal welfare policies.

The world must understand the truth about this terrible war that Russia has unleashed!
