Been running a beta version of Campfire rewritten in Rust today! The code itself is still ugly as sin, and 6x as verbose, but the conversion was free*, and I never had to look at the Rust directly, so this is awesome 🤩 github.com/basecamp/once-cam…

Siedzę w powiedzmy przypadkowej kawiarnii w Madrycie, bo akurat tędy wracamy z wakacji. Ciepło jest ☀️☀️☀️ Do kawiarni weszła pani, tak na oko 65-70 i chyba… poprosiła przy kasie o wodę. Chyba bo nie słyszałem. Kelnerka podeszła do baru, wzięła szklankę, nalał jej wody i podała. Z kranu takiej. I tera siadaj branżo gastro w Polsce …. Nie kazali jej zapłacić za to. Nic! Zero! Null!! Nawet 15 złotych nie było na rachunku. Żadnego rachunku nie było, bo wyobraźcie sobie, ona nawet nic nie zamówiła. Usiadła chwilę, wypiła… i wyszła. I tutaj mam pytanie .: jak oni tutaj nie bankrutują❓❓❓ /cc: @jakubtepper … bez powodu 🖖😂
