It will also slow down the app significantly with posts not opening up for many seconds due to processing of the links. The devs said that they will look into it in future. Note that support has ended for Android 7 now, so it may never receive a fix. reddit.com/r/redditmobile/co…

The only way to currently fix is to clear app data completely/reinstall, which will require login into accounts again and configuring settings, etc. Otherwise, if you have root access you can clear the cached links table manually, the link in the root tweet has the commands.

Here's a classic #Google tactic: use "open source" to get devs hooked, then gradually slip in proprietary bits. #AOSP's core apps move ever more towards proprietary, and they also do this with libraries like com.google.ar:core github.com/google-ar/arcore-…

Sad to hear @aarch64org is going away. Termux was using it for last few years after bintray shutdown to often serve tens of TB of data/month to our users. Thank you for being there for us and the FOSS community! Wishing you success for your future endeavors! *T&C apply* ;)

FYI, Termux users should follow the new twitter account.
Currently active devs are making some changes to how Termux operates. A post will be made soon with all the details. One change is to use this @termuxdevs twitter account and not the @termux account, which we don't have access to. Follow this account instead for latest news.

@joaomgcd got reports that READ_LOGS permission is not working to get system wide logs by Tasker. I have confirmed this as well for android 13 r3 avd (TPB1.220310.028, april patch) for both tasker and termux, but works on r1. CC: @MishaalRahman

dumpsys shows that permission has been successfully granted to the apps and doesn't seem to be a `targetSdkVersion` issue since termux is still using 28. Logcat does not show any warnings. A bug report has been filed at issuetracker.google.com/u/2/…
