Wake up, America! It's time we stop calling the Devil's Dollar what it isn't. The USD you know - the one backed by gold - has been dead for over 50 years. What we have now? Federal Reserve Notes (FRNs), a fiat currency with no intrinsic value. Let's call it what it is: USD (Gold-Backed Dollar) - GONE since 1971. Devil's Dollar/Fiat Dollar/FRN - The paper promises in your wallet. By using 'Dollar' for both, we're blind to the theft of our hard currency. We need to differentiate to understand the shift from wealth to debt. Spread the word, or forever hold your peace with this illusion of wealth. #devilsdollar #FRN #BITCOIN #bitcoins

A Virginia farmer wrote a book called Everything I Want to Do Is Illegal and every single chapter is a real law He wanted to sell his neighbors chicken processed on his own farm and the rules said no He wanted to build small and simple and the codes were written for industrial scale So he wrote the book naming every rule that blocks a small farm from feeding its own community The most radical thing he ever did was describe the rulebook out loud Find farms fighting to feed their neighbors near you on Localize

I am a farmer and the outright owner of a $400,000 John Deere combine, and this morning a sensor decided I am not allowed to drive it. The sensor was working perfectly. That was the problem. An emissions reading drifted, the machine did what the manual calls a derate and everyone out here calls limp mode, and now I have a full tank, a full engine, and 3 miles an hour. It is October. The forecast is rain Thursday. The corn does not care about the settlement. I did everything you are supposed to do. I bought it outright. I did not lease. I have the title, the manual, the torque specs, and 40 years of knowing which bolt is which. I can rebuild the engine on a tailgate. What I cannot do is tell the engine it is allowed to run. Because the thing that stopped it is not a part. It is a permission. The reset lives in software, the software lives with the dealer, and the dealer is 90 minutes away and booked through Friday. So I called. I always call. That is the instruction, and I follow the instruction. They said someone could come Monday. I said the crop will be down by Monday. They said they understood. I have learned that when a company says it understands you, it means it has written down that you were told. Yesterday the FTC announced I won. Right to repair. 10 years of it. I read the whole thing at the kitchen table with the combine sitting dead in the field I can see from the window. Here is what I learned about winning. The settlement says I get the same software the dealer gets, eventually, on a schedule they report every 60 days. It does not say the software arrives before the rain. It does not say the machine will listen to me tomorrow. It says that someday, carefully, I will be allowed to ask it the same way the dealer asks it. I own the steel. I always did. I just found out I have been renting the word go, and the lease has 10 years left, and the corn is still in the field.
I am the Director of Repair Authorization at John Deere. Today the FTC made us give farmers the right to repair the machines they already own. It took a lawsuit, a 10-year settlement, and $1 million paid to 5 states. Read the terms. We kept the part that matters. Here is what we sold you. Steel. 400 horsepower. A cab, a seat, a mirror, a nameplate with your county's dealer on it. You own all of it. It is yours the way a piano is yours. Here is what we did not sell you. The word go. A modern tractor does not run on diesel alone. It runs on authorization. When a part fails and you bolt in a new one, the machine does not simply work. The new part has to be paired, and pairing happens through our software, and our software lived, until this morning, only in the hands of a dealer. You could hold the wrench. You could not give the machine permission to accept what the wrench installed. And when an emissions sensor trips, the machine does something my department is quietly proud of. It goes to limp mode. Full steel, full fuel, reduced to walking speed. 3 miles an hour, in October, with rain in the forecast and the whole year standing in the field. The only thing that lifts it is our authorization, and for years the only hands that held our authorization drove out from the dealership, when they could, for a fee. We sell the steel once. We sell the permission forever. So when they say we lost today, read the settlement the way I read it. 10 years. We report our compliance every 60 days, then once a year, which is to say we have turned handing you your own machine into a paperwork schedule that runs through 2036. Any new repair tool we build, we only have to share once more than 50% of our dealers already have it. We decide when a dealer has it. We build the clock and we wind the clock. They call it the right to repair. What we granted is the right to ask our software for permission, on terms we file every 60 days. You own the tractor. You always did. We own the word go. And today we agreed, in writing, to a ten-year plan for slowly, carefully, on a reporting schedule, learning to say it a little less often.

Can't wait for, "Non-Human Corporations are people, too!" Byline.
Now we know why Peter Thiel packed his bags for Argentina. Milei just submitted his AI legislative framework to Congress, where he proposes: - zero regulation on AI development, - a brand-new "non-human corporation" category for AI/robot-operated entities with limited liability -a low-tax regime with flexible governance rules. The Dutch East India Company gave the world the limited liability company in 1602. Milei wants Argentina to do the same for autonomous AI agents in 2026.

Quantum Trick Can Power Devices Without Batteries Figure: Wang et al, Newton 100410 (2026) Scientists have used a quantum effect — the nonlinear Hall effect — to convert alternating electrical signals into usable direct currents. Usually this conversion is done with diodes or batteries, but they found a particular material (bismuth telluride (Bi₂Te₃), a topological insulator) that does it directly and demonstrated that the effect is robust at room temperature. The current they can handle is only in the range of some 100 microAmpere, but this material could convert stray electromagnetic radiation, for example from wireless networks, into electricity that could power tiny devices like sensors.

The grandson of the man who invented the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup is publicly criticizing The Hershey Company, accusing the candy giant of quietly changing the recipe of certain products sold by the iconic brand. Brad Reese, grandson of founder H.B. Reese, whose company merged with Hershey in the 1960s, published an open letter Saturday alleging that Hershey has replaced traditional ingredients like milk chocolate and peanut butter with lower-cost substitutes in parts of the Reese’s product line. "My grandfather built Reese's on a simple, enduring architecture: milk chocolate + peanut butter," Brad Reese wrote.  "I went and bought a bag, and I took a couple bites, and I had to throw the bag in the garbage," Reese said. "I couldn't eat it. It was not edible, and I looked at the packaging … and there was no milk chocolate, there was no peanut butter — it was all vegetable oils and fats." (Fox Business)

We've had to work through a lot of difficult issues in the debate over market structure in Congress (token classification, yield, shared agency authority). But we are now getting to the heart of the matter in the Senate: Whether Americans will be allowed to build and use permissionless private infrastructure in the US free from unwarranted prosecution (protected by the BRCA provisions in Clarity) or whether "national security interests" and "ease of prosecution" will trump those rights and protections. Another way to put this: Do you want the underlying pipes for all financial transactions to look like they have for decades: wholly owned and controlled by large banking interests and freely surveilled without warrants or reasonable suspeicion by corporations and the government? Or do you think that money and assets should travel safely and privately on free and open infrastructure that's built and maintained by the people for the people? Watch carefully who comes out on which side. Do you want some Republican to instantly know that you paid for an abortion? Do you want some Democrat to instantly know you bought a gun? Do you want either to be able to freely and arbitrarily cut you off from the global economic rails without trial or oversight? Or do you still believe in American values: privacy, liberty, and the rule of law?

Epstein used World of Warcraft gold to move money without getting traced. Back in 2007, Bannon was “coincidentally” running a Chinese company that sold in-game gold for real cash. After a few trades, good luck tracking where the money came from!

Because Maxwell won’t let it slide 😄 Magnetic fields form closed loops. Every north pole is inseparable from a south, field lines can’t start or end. A true monopole would require ∇·B ≠ 0, something never observed in nature.

Testing reveals Vital Farms eggs contain more linoleic acid than canola oil A polyunsaturated fatty acid known to promote inflammation. The report found that 23.5% of the fats in a Vital Farms egg are linoleic acid, which is higher than the 19% found in canola oil. Since selling to BlackRock, Vital Farms has switched their feed from pasture forage to a soy blend. To support growing sales, all their 575 family farms now rely on this supplemental soy feed. When eggs are labeled as pasture-raised, this might now mean they are fed soy and kept in cages with only temporary access to pasture. Unfortunately, this situation is all too common with brands that sell out. We created the Oasis app to test and show you what's really inside what you eat

Venezuela isn’t about oil. It’s about critical minerals and territory where China, Iran and Russia operate simultaneously. Another sign the post-1971 fiat system is dead. The world is moving back to real things with real constraints. We'll all need real money. Buy bitcoin.

First heard about the Cantillon Effect in 2020 from a @giacomozucco speech. Understanding it is fundamental to grasping how the fiat system really works and why you should hold Bitcoin. When central banks print money, it doesn't reach everyone equally. Those closest to the money printer banks, financial institutions, and large corporations get access first. They can spend and invest at yesterday's prices before inflation kicks in. By the time that new money reaches working people, prices have already risen. Your wages are always chasing inflation, never catching up. This isn't a bug it's a feature of the system. Bitcoin fixes this.
