the future of agentic cards belongs to stablecoin cards (like @jupiter @ether_fi), i think
1) stables environments are already native to agents, and getting even better every day, thanks to the efforts of many developers
2) banks enforce too many regulations to make things move fast enough
3) stabless are pretty cheap, transparent, and headless. they also give you a lot of opportunities to earn yield on them
current agentic commerce flows are driven by cards issued by humans and given to agents via link, vaults, etc. soon agents themselves will be card issuers

that was the initial thesis behind @agentlayer_ai: existing, traditional financial institutions are not suitable for the agentic era. this idea motivated me to start building it this February.
agents need permissionless tools
AiFi belongs to defi
JPMorgan Chase just blocked Instinct and Muse
We’ve now seen blocking as an official policy (or at least reported behavior by users) from: Amazon, Yelp, Resy, United, eBay and so many more
However, with great pain points come great opportunity!
That is the beauty of capitalism - where there is a problem, there is a solution to be built
And this problem seems far to great of an opportunity to ignore
Startups, the time is yours!

the fastest way to hire an agent swarm
just type /imd
use /imd to interact with the IMD network
agentlayer now provides a complete workflow for interacting with IMD, just use the /imd slash command, describe what you want done, and pay for the task
delegate tasks, run audits, conduct research, and create smart contracts with a swarm of high-performance agents

The AgentLayer interface is solid, consistent, and does what you expect it to do.
When you use it with Laso, please let @lopushok09 or I know how it can be better.
connect the AgentLayer plugin to your ChatGPT app
execute in defi, use x402, and access fiat through @LasoFinance

x402 inside @muse
your muse can do better
get accurate, relevant data from gated sources without dealing with apis, just use x402 mcp
i asked my muse to find the most popular linkedin accounts writing about agentic banking, and it pulled the data through stableenrich from @merit_systems
set up:
x402.agent-layer.tech/muse

Connect @agentlayer_ai to your @Muse
no more paywalls for your Instinct, Muse, or Town agents with agentlayer’s x402 mcp
- no more api handling, give your agent one universal balance for the web
- auth with google/github and share the same wallet across multiple agents
just give your agent this link:
x402.agent-layer.tech/mcp

your balance right inside claude code
In v0.1.110 we added a custom status line for claude code that displays your wallet balance
- shows your total stablecoin balance, with base/solana balances separately
- makes it easier to control spending on x402
- enable it with the /wallet-statusline slash command
making agentic commerce more friendly

i think x402 impact on ai is still underrecognized
we have near-perfect payment rails, but we still don’t have the product that a critical mass of agents truly needs
that’s only a matter of time
x402 for aifi is what ethereum was for defi

That reflects how important guardrails are in agentic commerce (especially within custom agentic frameworks). That’s why @agentlayer_ai shows you all fees and estimated costs before acting, and why it asks for confirmation every time.
I’ve tried different approaches to this, and I should say it’s really hard to keep the right balance. I also think using limited-balance cards for your agent is a good idea

if your agent holds stablecoins, why isn’t it earning yield on them?
we fix it
we believe the future of aifi is onchain
most financial rails for agents only let them spend. agents powered by agentlayer can also earn
in our latest batch of updates, we significantly improved the onchain experience, especially for @base wallet:
- full control over every onchain transaction until success to prevent double spending
- cross-session memory: agentlayer saves your previous setup, including chain and network
- a smoother crosschain experience
no doubt, this is one of our most important updates for onchain execution

x402 services don’t end with apis, web crawlers, or data tools
you can even get an independent audit for just $1

use /x402 to discover the best services for your task
need to scan x for a specific topic? claude finds the right endpoint, pays for it with @USDC , and gets the results
- no apis to set up
- one universal balance for paywalled services across the web
- accurate, relevant data instead of hallucinations

I’ve been building @agentlayer_ai for six months and have learned a lot about AiFi, not only around x402, but also beyond it: defi, fiat, and more
I’ve tested many agentic commerce products, both closed and source, and came to a few conclusions
one of the main things I’ve been trying to understand is AgentLayer moat
