Cursor is sooo much more ahead than competitors for product development, especially after the spaceX acquisition. The killer feature for me is the cloud+desktop environment combo. So we set it up once and then every time you work on a feature you can actually test it on a desktop!! like you can control a miniVPS just for that task. So I've uninstalled all my local setup, like docker, postgres, etc.. because now I do everything in the cloud with Cursor.

For the past 3 weeks, I've been travelling around Poland. I started in Krakow, then went to Wroclaw, and now I'm in Warsaw. I'm completely amazed by how clean, organised and polished all these cities feel. You don't see crazy people on the streets, people behaving strangely like you do in Spain or Italy, for example, or trash on the ground. I cannot emphasise enough how clean everything looks. It's like being in Singapore or Japan. Travelling between cities is also a very pleasant experience. The trains are very comfortable (and again, clean), and they have restaurants on board that actually serve amazing, affordable Polish food! In Warsaw particularly, everybody is very well dressed, and walking around the city centre feels like such an elevated experience. It's crazy that Poland's GDP per capita has more than tripled in dollar terms over the past 20 years. I think people back home still see Poland as a very poor country, but that view is completely outdated now. In Krakow, I also met Italian girls who said they felt so safe walking around. I mentioned I was going to visit Bologna soon, and they joked that I'd only see Pakistani people. Poland has had a huge influx of Ukrainian immigration, and you notice it in Ubers, cafés, bars, etc. But because the culture and religion are similar, it doesn't feel like a big cultural contrast. Well, coming from Portugal, I find people here slightly blunter and ruder, but again, all of this is relative (Brazilians think we're rude, for example), so I suppose you just get used to it. The public transport works flawlessly, and the trains and buses are impeccably clean. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems Polish people have a stronger sense of civic responsibility when it comes to cleanliness than southern Europeans? Judging by the cities I've visited so far, this does feel like what you'd imagine when somebody says “Europe”. It's super refreshing to be here. I think locals probably take it for granted by now.

bumble is down 95% but it's not a bumble problem it's a society problem the data: • 44% of gen z men have never dated. not single. never dated. • young adults having no sex for a full year: doubled from 12% to 24% since 2010 • 4 in 10 college guys never hooked up or went on a single date in 4 years of college • 75% of gen z says dating apps leave them feeling burnt out we're not swiping less because the apps are bad we're swiping less because we stopped wanting to connect young people had 70% less social interaction over the past 20 years. the surgeon general called loneliness an "epidemic." and the weird part? when surveyed, 90% of gen z says they want to find love. they want it. they're just too scared, too tired, or too disconnected to try. bumble isn't dying because of tinder or hinge bumble is dying because dating is dying and no one's figured out how to fix it yet

We gonna have GTA Genie before GTA 6
Google Genie is seriously mind bending. This is a Text To World prompt of a man walking down Hollywood Blvd. I am not only controlling the movement of the man, but also the camera. This is the World Model we've been waiting for. More Below!

This guy is completely clueless and has no understanding of what AI can actually do I am fully convinced that whatever work people do on a laptop will be automated It’s just LLM (brain), input (keyboard, mouse) and output (screen) It’s that simple. Now add a trillion dollars of iteration and fast forward 5 years
NOW - Citadel's CEO says AI has re-empowered technology departments in every business but the claims that 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs will disappear due to AI in five years is "hype," driven by the AI industry's need to justify raising billions for data centers.

Basically get people to reply, then reply back. Likes barely matter The weights for a reply plus when you reply back is 75 + 13.5 = 88.5 So a good thread is worth 177 likes

I think a lot of people use "non-technical" to excuse someone from thinking logically or to justify them getting fed bullshit

Everyone’s talking about Generative Engine Optimization like it’s the next SEO, but there’s a fundamental flaw nobody wants to address: you have no idea what users are actually prompting. These tools run their own synthetic queries (“best CRM software”) and track whether you show up, but real users ask things in wildly unpredictable ways (“how do I stop losing deals to competitors”). You’re essentially optimizing for prompts you invented, hoping they correlate with reality. It’s keyword research without search volume data. Until AI platforms expose aggregate query data (which they probably never will), GEO is educated guessing dressed up as analytics.

Just to make it absolutely clear, my point here is that GEO is snake oil

Moreover, LLMs don’t get new knowledge unless they’re plugged into tools which differ from provider to provider. Optimising for Gemini makes no logical sense unless you’re talking about the specific tool environment (for example Google AI mode) Also, most LLMs just query Google so you’re literally doing normal SEO
