For the coming week:
0. You’ll see hoardings and banners everywhere assuring everyone that UPI is still FREE for every citizen
1. You’ll see influencers explaining how impossible it is to run such a complex UPI infra with no charges
2. You’ll see TV channels calling experts to talk about how complex the tech is behind running UPI at such a low cost
3. You’ll see ads and marketing campaigns of small vendors happily accepting digital UPI payments

Govt has money to waive off lakhs of crores corporate debt but couldn’t fulfill the promises made to Soldier’s families who has lost their lives fighting for the nation.
An 80-year-old mother is offering to return her son's Shaurya Chakra.
Not in anger at the nation.
In exhaustion.
Assistant Commandant Vivek Saxena fell fighting terrorists in Manipur on 8 January 2003. The country gave him the Shaurya Chakra. The state promised his family land and a memorial. Twenty-two years later, Savitri Saxena is still being sent from office to office. Asked for domicile papers. Asked where she lived before marriage. Asked to keep waiting.
She is 80. She says she no longer has the strength to keep doing the rounds. So she has brought the medal to a grievance camp and said: if this is the honour we give a martyr's mother, take it back.
A son gave his life.
A mother is being asked to prove she belongs.
That should break something in all of us.

For a long time, I have changed my practice of caring for critically ill patients referred to me towards a more home-based hospice care approach - because right now, in Indian healthcare, dying inside hospitals is the biggest business. If doctors are sure the patient is not going to make it, they must offer them the option of dying with dignity in the comfort of their home, instead of escalating treatment and bankrupting families who live on the fringes of financial breakdown.

The brutality unleashed by the police on protesting students near Jantar Mantar is deeply disturbing. Yet, for many of us, it painfully revives the memories of an even darker chapter—the horrific assault on students at Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University in December 2019.
Inside university campuses, students were chased, mercilessly beaten, and subjected to violence that seemed intended not merely to disperse a protest, but to break their bodies and spirits. Those haunting images remain etched in our collective memory.
To add to the injustice, the committee constituted to investigate the incident eventually gave the police a clean chit, leaving countless students and citizens feeling that accountability had once again been denied.
A democracy cannot thrive when students are treated as enemies for raising their voices. Campuses should be places of learning and debate—not sites of fear and brutality.

No political party in India allows Dalits to contest from general seats, they are given tickets only on reserved seats. TVK party distributed tickets to Dalits on general seats and 28 MLAs were elected from the Dalit community. Jai Bhim ✊

I m confused seeing RCB fans hating on Jitesh and Romario since yesterday..they have really short memory.
Jitesh's 82 off 35 against LSG is an all time great IPL innings. Else you would have played Eliminator and got knocked out by a red-hot MI.
Romario dismissed Shreyas Iyer in the final..that alone is enough to build his statue outside Chinnaswamy.
Weird bunch seriosuly.
