$1.23 Billion Weekly Outflows + Ethereum Update
Binance recorded $1.23 billion in net outflows for the week starting June 29. That’s a 207% increase compared to the previous week’s $400 million, bringing the total outflows for the month to $3.2 billion so far...
Ethereum withdrawals saw a particularly sharp spike: in a single day, there were over 166,000 ETH withdrawal transactions, the highest in more than 3 years.
Meanwhile, Ethereum’s price rose 12.5% over the past week and is currently trading around $1,766.
Many analysts don’t see this as panic, but rather as a shift toward self-custody (moving funds off exchanges into personal wallets). Long-term, this could actually be positive for ETH, as it reduces the available supply on exchanges.
I also believe the MiCA regulations are playing a role here, and a lot of people are taking advantage of the migration/switch campaigns offered by other exchanges.
On that note how’s everyone doing with the OKX €400 campaign?

just need 3 more card transactions.

🚨LATEST: Meta’s advertising business is closing in on Google Search, with quarterly revenue now just $4 BILLION behind.
Meta generated roughly $59.4 BILLION in ad revenue in Q2 2026, up 27% year-over-year, versus $63.3 billion for Google Search & other.
Meta delivered 14% MORE ad impressions while charging 12% more per ad, reaching an audience of 3.6 billion daily users across its apps.
Its AI-driven advertising strategy aims to put relevant products in front of people before they even search, intensifying the battle for advertisers’ budgets.
Interesting... is the “blocking of AI agents” beginning?
The AI agent crackdown has BEGUN.
Your AI agent is now being BLOCKED by JPMorgan, Citi and Amazon.
1. JPMorgan bars outside agents from moving money in customer accounts, with Jamie Dimon warning of “rogue agents.”
2. Citi won’t let “third-party AI agents or assistants” log into accounts or transact.
3. Amazon blocked Meta’s Muse agent in September, saying unauthorized AI agents violate its Conditions of Use.
4. Bank of America has reportedly restricted access too, with CEO Brian Moynihan saying there should be a “human in the loop.”
Banks have also warned regulators that AI agents could shift customers’ cash into accounts paying better rates, per the FT.
If JPMorgan, BofA and Wells Fargo paid just 3% on their $1.6 TRILLION of zero-interest deposits, it would cost them $47 BILLION a year.
ChatGPT is catching up to Claude
A few big upgrades for Chrome users today! We’re bringing the power of computer use to anyone who uses Chrome.
First up: ChatGPT can now use your tabs in Chrome to make answers more useful and get things done for you.
If you’re in Chat, it can look across your open tabs and gather info.
If you’re in Work, ChatGPT can control your Chrome tabs to get things, like sending messages, filling out forms, or downloading files. It can even help you organize and group that pile of tabs you have open.

Abstract could have had a TGE at any point before shutting down, like countless L2s with no users did.
But they didn’t.
@chefgoyardi& @LucaNetz bought Pudgy with their own money, never extracted from the community, and once again showed integrity with Abstract.
Best news of all:
back to Pudgy Penguins.
Abstract is winding down.
Starting today, all of @IglooInc's focus will go towards taking Pudgy Penguins, Pudgy NFTs, and $PENGU to the next level.
When we acquired Frame in the summer of 2024, the vision was to build the blockchain for consumer crypto. Pudgy Penguins had shown us what it meant to reach the masses, and we believed we could bring that same approach to building a chain.
Abstract achieved a lot in a short period of time; we built the Portal and AGW, onboarded major global brands, amassed over 300 million transactions, and grew a vibrant onchain ecosystem.
The journey became stifled by the lack of a DeFi ecosystem, insufficient liquidity, minimal institutional cross-over, and prohibitively high costs that impeded growth in winning areas.
Unknown to most, Igloo, Inc. had been funding Abstract over the last 18 months.
After losing tens of millions of dollars over two years, building consumer products, assembling an all-star team, onboarding some of the biggest brands in the world, and building a community of millions, we still had not found product-market fit.
In combination with the market's reduced appetite for what we had built and not being able to find a scalable path forward, we could no longer justify taking from the Pudgy Penguins business.
Igloo, Inc. has always been a community-first company. Even after losing 8 figures, we could have launched a token or pursued an ICO.
Ultimately we decided against this. A token only works if there is something driving demand to it, and launching a token that we don’t have conviction in would have been a disservice to our community.
The entire team at Abstract has worked tirelessly with a tremendous amount of passion to make the consumer crypto vision come true. I cannot fault a single one of them for this outcome.
To the Abstract community, I want to thank all of you for sticking by our side on this long journey and for continuing to champion us. You supported us through all of the ups and downs, and I wish the result could have been different.
There will be many that will find satisfaction in seeing this shut down, and that is fine. I take a great amount of pride in having the ambition to venture into the chain business, notoriously one of the most difficult to make work, and the only regret I have is not being able to celebrate a win alongside the Abstract community.
As we wind down Abstract, our full focus shifts to making Pudgy Penguins into the global & cultural phenomenon I know it can become.
Return to Pudgy Penguins.
It was interesting watching the shillers who, even in the final days, were still yelling that we were idiots for saying what we had already figured out a long time ago: it was over.
I guess they’re all quietly deleting those posts now. 😄
