Attempting first fully autonomous taxi of Ravn X SN0 tonight

Sharing this important EO in a brief pause while working underneath the @aevumspace Ravn X air-launch vehicle. Rapid reconstitution of critical space capabilities demands close collaboration from the entire space industrial base. Expanding vertical launch infrastructure is important. In some cases, where geography, responsiveness, congestion, or infrastructure constraints matter, runway-based launch may be needed alongside vertical pads. The stories I loved hearing from my mentors who worked on the Apollo and Shuttle programs are the ones that speak to how the entire country came together to achieve national objectives. Although the context is drastically different today, especially in how capital flows, I still believe in that type of collaboration. Aevum is continuing to work toward fully autonomous, on-demand orbital launch capabilities. Our goal is to help fill a gap in the space transportation architecture where runway-based launch can provide complementary capacity, resilience, and flexibility. You’re right. Any failure is not great for launch in general. But there were a lot of firsts on this mission and achieved key milestones for responsive space & global, licensed spaceport activities. Very impressive. Hope the hard work of many come to light. Esp for Cornwall/UK.

I can't find any words. Only emotions & sadness. I set out 16 yrs ago to support our warfighters after US forces were killed in Afghanistan. We don't get to clock out in defense. Our American way of life must be defended. We must press on & keep working. DIB we have to do better.
