It’s Back to the Future Day 🚗⏰🚀
Those old enough to remember its impact, it’s scary to think how long ago that was!
If HVAC engineers from 1985 could jump into a DeLorean and arrive in 2050, they would probably recognise the fundamental challenge - keeping people comfortable
🔹System efficiency: new ways to deliver required performance
🔹Water: rethinking cooling strategies
🔹Indoor air quality: increasingly considered alongside temp control
🔹Grid interaction: HVAC systems becoming part of how buildings manage energy
And one thing is certain: the HVAC in the next 50 years 2️⃣0️⃣7️⃣6️⃣will need to respond to conditions different from those we designed for in the past
The future may be difficult to predict. But designing for it starts now.
