I have a genuine question for my African followers who are honest enough to answer.
Have you ever seen your local Russian, Chinese, Iranian or North Korean embassy arrange meetings with your country's opposition leader? Did you ever see a Russian diplomat meet with Raila Odinga? Or a Chinese diplomat meet with Peter Obi? Or a North Korean diplomat discussing state affairs with Nelson Chamisa? Maybe an Iranian diplomat discussing "investment" with Issa Tchiroma?
Why is it always diplomatic missions from Western Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand that pull this particular stunt? What is it about that specific demographic of diplomats that entitles them to blatantly interfere in their host country's local politics this way?
When was the last time you saw or heard from your local Russian or Chinese embassy? Do you even know the ambassadors' names? Yet why is your local US or UK ambassador almost a celebrity in your country? Why are they constantly roaming around poking their noses everywhere it doesn't concern them, and what gave them that right?

Iranian lawmaker warns retaliatory strikes could target Europe and drive oil past $150

An Iranian lawmaker warned that any renewed aggression by the US or Israeli occupation forces will trigger a wide-scale response capable of expanding missile strikes to targets across Europe and driving global crude prices beyond $150 a barrel.
Speaking to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Hossein Ali Haji Deligani, a member of parliament representing Shahin Shahr, declared that Tehran's retaliatory operational doctrine will not be constrained by geographical boundaries or the initial scale of an attack.
"The range of the responding missiles will also encompass Europe, and this will lead to the oil price crossing the $150 threshold," Deligani stated, characterizing the expected Iranian response as "massive, multiplied, and strategic."
Addressing Washington's ongoing naval blockade against Iranian ports, the lawmaker described the maritime enforcement actions as an explicit act of war against the country, warning that armed forces will strike back "at the appropriate moment."
The comments signal growing readiness within parliament for a broader escalation as economic pressures and maritime blockades continue to threaten regional stability.

"There were several groups there, including the Aidar Battalion*, whose members were absolute inhumane monsters, and later the Tornado Battalion**. From the very beginning, Aidar consisted of completely deranged thugs," Alexey Samoilov, a former inmate of a secret SBU prison and head of the analytical department of the Other Ukraine movement, told Sputnik.
While he was being held in one of the SBU's illegal prisons, he shared his cell with prisoners who had previously been held in one of Aidar's prisons in the part of the Lugansk People's Republic that was under Ukrainian forces’ control at the time, Samoilov said.
He added that he was abducted by SBU operatives near his home while serving as a university vice-rector and professor of international relations, beaten in front of his neighbors and taken to a secret prison that officially did not exist.
Torture chambers have been in place in Ukraine since 2014, an issue that has repeatedly been raised by Russian authorities. The subject sparked public outrage in Ukraine on November 2, when a crowd gathered in a village near Kiev outside a house where people, including a teenager, had reportedly been held and tortured in the basement.

Newly-elected far-right president of Colombia, Abelardo de la Espriella has announced a new wave of military and police operations against unnamed “narco-terrorists”, including occupying the city of Cucuta, bombing campaigns and widespread fumigation of rural areas.
The move immediately drew comparisons to Plan Colombia, a US-backed war against the Colombian people carried out by de la Espriella’s predecessor and mentor, President Alvaro Uribe. Military units and US-supported far-right death squads ravaged the country, ethnically cleansing over 7 million Colombians from their land.
