An open letter from Admirals President Jon Greenberg: milwaukeeadmirals.com/news/a…
One of the most wonderful people you could meet around the rink.
Heartbroken seeing this news. Sending all my love to Gail’s family and many, many friends. Everyone will miss your smile and presence at games. ❤️
A message from Admirals President Jon Greenberg:
"The entire Milwaukee Admirals organization is deeply saddened by the passing of long-time season ticket member, Gail Burchardt.
Gail’s truly remarkable streak of consecutive games came to a sudden end prior to game 4 of the Division Finals. She attended 1,222 straight games so seeing her seat empty was a shock to everyone.
Gail saw so many players and coaches come through the organization since 1995 when she first joined our season ticket member family. She was there for the Calder Cup championship team in 2004. She was there for the trip to the Finals in 2006. She was there for her favorite player, Vern Fiddler’s time in Milwaukee.
Gail loved the Admirals and she will be missed by not only all of us but by the many fans and ushers who got to know her over the years.
Our deepest condolences go out to her husband, Ron, who was with her for many of those 1,222 games and to all of her family, many of which she introduced to Admirals hockey.
Please keep Gail’s family and her friends in your thoughts and prayers."

Professional hockey returns to Milwaukee. bizjournals.com/milwaukee/ne…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Milwaukee has had professional hockey since 1977 in the Milwaukee Admirals.
Both the International Hockey League (where the Admirals played from 1977 to 2001) and the American Hockey League (where they've played since) are classified as professional hockey leagues.

Milwaukee in mind, I think adding Hinostroza on a two-way deal is a real nice addition.
Replying to @adsroundtable
It creates competition too, guys fight harder in camp and pre season to make that opening roster. And once they get here they continue to fight hard to get back up, I liked all of the signings today. Lucchini was my favorite add of all
I don’t think this changes anything.
Adding to the NHL roster is always top priority. Prospects looking to break into it, that make enough of a case to do so, will earn their chances.
The organization added a ton of top depth today. Prospect depth is there to complement it.
