If you have lost power due to Tropical Storm Harold, remember to use flashlights instead of candles, be sure to keep your fridge and freezer closed as much as possible, and, if safe to do so, evacuate your home if it gets too hot. Remember to also never use a generator inside!

Elevated heat and fire conditions continue for the next few days, excessive heat and critical fire weather conditions are expected Thursday and Friday. Please drink plenty of water and remember not to engage in any activities that may accidentally cause wildfires.
Hot conditions continue through the week, with only slightly cooler temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday. Isolated showers and storms are possible Tuesday afternoon, primarily along the Rio Grande and south of San Antonio. However, most will not receive any rainfall.
