Kids, get your moral compass from parents & grandparents. They're the only ones with skin in your game, truly wanting you to have a good life, in the deepest sense of what 'good' means.
Get values from some nitwit Prof or misguided senior in social studies dept, you're toast.
Leftists can’t sustain a revolution on general ground-level issues coz they can’t survive a third day without bringing Muh Kashmir and my broda Umar khalid. And that’s when they lose the support of masses. They were designed to be NOT massy. That’s why they have barely any connection with their families. They are outlaws. Manufacturing rituals like Laal Salaam to form a cult which fills in for the lack of a family.

🚨 BIG: Phone On Speaker In Trains Could Land You In JAIL! 🤯
• Southern Railway warns of ₹1,000 fines and removal from railway premises for creating noise nuisance.
• Repeat offenders could face up to 6 MONTHS IN JAIL and ₹5,000 fine!
Watching reels, blasting music or making loud calls on speaker? Think TWICE.
Public transport isn’t your private theatre. Your freedom to use a phone doesn’t mean freedom to disturb EVERYONE around you. 🔥

🚨 BOOM! A shop owner in Lyon who spent ALL NIGHT guarding his store looked the city's Green Party mayor in the eye this morning and told him to RESIGN.
"Are you proud today? Look at the damage you've done!"
"You should be ashamed. You must resign!"
Mayor Gregory Doucet came to see the damage in the city center, and police had to stand between the two men.
Yesterday, masked rioters smashed and looted shop after shop and burned the city's historic tourism office to the ground.
Some shop owners stood in their doorways with baseball bats because that was the only protection they had.
Lyon made just 20 ARRESTS.
This is what happens when leftists run a city. The rioters walk, and the shop owners clean up the glass.
He's right. Resign.

VB only needs two changes
1) reduce the number of announcements. The aunty truly is annoying.
2) have dual lights. White during boarding at major stops etc. Then switch to warm yellow.
The lighting is insanely harsh.
On Vande Bharat again, this time with family, on a short vacation!
Wife and daughter not too happy with the Executive Class! 🙂
Wife's complaint - where do I keep my handbag? My feet can't reach the footrest. 🙂
Daughter's complaint - When will the aunty stop her announcements and let me sleep? 🙂 #IndianRailways #VandeBharat #family #vacation

Let me add some perspective. I’m originally from Bengaluru and had been out of the country for over a decade and a half. My sibling similarly moved out of the city for higher studies & jobs. Most of my friends from school & college have moved out of the city since over 15years. The vast majority of them are permanently settled abroad. Many of their parents have moved houses in the last decade. Apart from a few, most of our grandparents have passed away in the last 10-15years. Just in my circle of about 300classmates and families, in the vast majority of cases, only parents should be left on the voter lists but that wasn’t the case.
Now, let’s consider the street where I live. 15years ago there were 8 houses. Only 4houses are the same since about 15years ago. Among these 4, 1 is now unoccupied - the original inhabitants have all passed away and the extended family is now in courts over who gets the house. 1 has only 1inhabitant since the other passed away. Only 1 of these houses has seen the entry of 4 new people on the voters list in the last 10years.
The other houses have been converted into offices or flats which have renters that rotate every couple of years. I can’t imagine any of them registering to vote. Only 1 of the families that has moved in has stayed 15years & they are registered to vote both here and in their hometown. I’m guessing they will be removed from the list in their hometown.
Every friend I speak with, tells the same story. Of neighbourhoods that have drastically changed. Of few who move in becoming permanent residents and the vast majority who are but guests for a couple of years. It should be no surprise to anyone that the lists have reduced by 40%. They finally reflect the reality on the ground.
Such a mischievous headline from the Times of India!
Bengaluru, being Karnataka’s largest city, has long had serious discrepancies in its electoral rolls, including duplicate entries, names of migrated voters and other outdated records. This is also one of the reasons why voter turnout has consistently hovered around 52–53%.
The SIR exercise is now seeking to correct these discrepancies.
Take my own constituency, Bengaluru South, for example:
Total electors in 2024: 23,41,759
Votes polled in 2024: 12,45,252
Electors in 2026 draft roll: 12,19,574
The draft roll now has 12.19 lakh electors, remarkably close to the 12.45 lakh votes polled in 2024 - indicating almost all eligible voters having come onto the roll.
Importantly, this is only a DRAFT roll. Any eligible voter whose name has been missed can apply for inclusion through Form 6. Voter registration is an ongoing process.
There is far too much misinformation surrounding SIR. Unfortunately, even established newspapers are contributing to this confusion.
The objective is simple: every eligible citizen must be on the voter list, and every ineligible or duplicate entry must be removed. That is fundamental to the integrity of our democracy.

May 5, 1945. Hitler has been dead for five days. The war in Europe is almost over.
In a castle in the Austrian Alps, American soldiers, German soldiers, and a group of elderly French prisoners grab rifles and get ready to fight the SS.
Together.
The castle was called Schloss Itter. The Nazis had turned it into a prison for very important people. Not ordinary prisoners. Trophies.
Inside were two former prime ministers of France, Paul Reynaud and Édouard Daladier. Two of France's top generals, Maxime Weygand and Maurice Gamelin. A famous tennis champion, Jean Borotra. And the older sister of Charles de Gaulle.
As the Reich collapsed in early May, the SS guards panicked and ran. The prisoners suddenly found themselves in charge of a castle, with weapons left behind, and a serious problem.
Waffen-SS units were still roaming the area. Fanatics who would gladly kill them all.
They needed help. Fast.
One of the castle's prisoners, a Yugoslav handyman, slipped out on a bicycle to find the Americans. Separately, a German army officer named Major Josef Gangl also went looking for them.
Gangl was a Wehrmacht officer who had turned against the Nazis and was secretly working with the Austrian resistance. He wanted to protect the prisoners too.
He found an American tank commander named Captain Jack Lee.
Lee was 27, tough, cigar chewing, and willing to do something insane. With a single Sherman tank and a handful of American soldiers, he drove up into the mountains alongside Gangl and a few of his German troops.
They reached the castle on May 4.
The French prisoners were not exactly thrilled to see a tiny rescue force. They had expected an army. Instead they got a few Americans, a few Germans, and one tank.
The next morning, the SS attacked.
Somewhere between 100 and 150 Waffen-SS troops hit the castle with machine guns, mortars, and anti-tank weapons. The defenders fought back from the walls and windows. Americans and Germans side by side.
The French prisoners refused to hide. Some of them, including Reynaud, picked up weapons and joined in.
The Sherman tank was knocked out. The defenders were running out of ammunition. It looked like the castle would fall.
Then Jean Borotra, the tennis star, volunteered to make a run for it. He jumped the wall, slipped past the SS, and sprinted through the countryside to find American reinforcements.
He found them. And he insisted on coming back with them to finish the fight.
During the battle, Major Gangl saw Paul Reynaud exposed to gunfire and moved to pull him to safety. A sniper shot Gangl dead.
He had survived the whole war as a German soldier, only to die defending French prisoners from the SS in its final days.
That afternoon, the American relief force arrived and broke the attack. The SS were scattered and captured. The prisoners were saved.
Jack Lee received the Distinguished Service Cross. In Austria, Josef Gangl is remembered as a hero, and a street is named after him.
It is believed to be the only battle of the war where American and German soldiers fought together on the same side.

Exactly. This is how leaders should respond when their karyakartas are targeted. 🔥
H D Kumarswamy just showed how it's done. "Does the Home Ministry belong to your father?" He asked Priyank Kharge after JDS Karyakaratas were picked up over the alleged defamatory videoes linked to Majawadi Siddaramiah.
@BJP4Karnataka has a lot to learn from this. Protect your workers. Call out misuse of power. Don't stay silent.

I've been saying this for a long time. In Telangana, STs are very strong, unlike SCs who convert to Christianity.
In a tribal area, 40 tribal families live together. A cunning pastor constructed a church with FCRA funds, not a school or hospital. Not a single person from those 40 families converted to Christianity.
Then the pastor closed the church, locked it, and ran away.
Tribal influencers are growing in Telangana and exposing the Christianity.

Mr. Parag Parikh had a gift which I rarely see among Fund Managers.
He had the ability to simplify complexity which imo was a superpower.
Just read the below pointers he had written to understand how investors should behave:
1. People make emotional decisions
- This makes the stock market very
difficult to understand. One does not
know which emotion is at work while
making buying or selling decisions.
2. Never envy someone – Most people
see someone’s success and they start
thinking ‘why not me’. This thought
process is behind most mistakes that
people commit in the market.
3. There are no geniuses – Some people
may sound brilliant at a particular point. But the real wisdom one gains from the market is this: To be a successful investor, you have to control your urges. That is, you should not get sentimental in the market.
4. Analysts have a secure job – We always need someone to come up with an excuse for why it (an event) happened.
5. A bull phase is always followed by a
bear phase and a bear phase is followed by a bull phase – You should keep your
equanimity in the market.
I can’t think of anyone in the Indian fund management community to write about these topics so soo beautifully…
