10 years ago, David Levin went to jail for launching a cyberattack on Floridaโ€™s election database. ย  It appears that the Trump Administration just hired him to monitor elections. ย  I want to know why.

I led engineering at Google DeepMind. Today, I'm proud to introduce Fo to give personal AI something no lab ever has... Humans. Other personal AI's pretend AI can do everything. Fo employs humans to do tasks that AI cannot. - 2x better at real-world task completion (beats other agents by 69%) - 94% trust rate (4x less likely to leak private info vs Muse, Instinct) Sign up for free: wajo.ai/join-wajo

Jev has accelerated the timeline for personalized education by years. The biggest bottleneck in building personalized education with AI is validating the quality of the material it generates. For the courses Iโ€™m building, generating lessons is only ~5% of the content cost. The other ~95% is validation and improvement. One of the biggest costs is checking whether a lesson gives a student too much information to process at once, overloading their working memory. Running that analysis across all of our content with frontier models gets incredibly expensive. At our current scale, even if Astra used half as many tokens as Jev, it would cost us ~$250,000. With Jev: ~$2,000. I built the tool weโ€™re using for the working-memory check and made it available here: github.com/AustinAWay/Workinโ€ฆ

Look, I know...perma-bear blah blah blah. But this is crazy stuff. There are 2 days in history like today, when the S&P 500 $SPY rallied at least 1% to within 1% of a new high, and more of its stocks fell to new lows than highs. โ€ข Jul 23, 1929 โ€ข Dec 21, 1999
We've never in almost 100 years seen breadth this bad. The S&P $SPY is knocking on new highs but there are (many) more stocks at lows than highs. The percentage of stocks in long-term uptrends is plunging. The only remotely similar setups were January 1973 and November 1999.

Trump described Canada as a far greater enemy of the USA than Putinโ€™s Russia. It is time to say this openly: โ€“ The USA is currently ruled by a dictator who was most likely recruited back in the days of the USSR. โ€“ As it turns out, the American system of checks and balances does not actually exist in reality. โ€“ The trust between Europe and the USAโ€”which had existed since at least 1945โ€”has been buried; if not forever, then certainly for a very long time. t.me/MirovichMedia/15344

In 8 pages, GPT-6 blows away Ford-Green-Konyagin-Maynard-Tao's result by a full order of magnitude. In the process a new (yet simple) starting point on the problem since the 1930s. This is akin to finding a completely new chess opening after decades, which subverts human traditions. IMO this is up there with the 2/3 Zeta Zeros proof as the most significant results from AI.
As part of the GPT-6 Astra launch, we announced that Astra had given an improvement to the longest gap between primes by roughly a log log n factor; the first such improvement since the 1930's! (More recent progress by subsets of Ford, Green, Konyagin, Maynard and Tao and more recently by GPT 5.6 Sol were by logloglog n factors.) (1/4)

1/ Russian ultranationalist political philosopher Alexander Dugin says that "the time has come to strike NATO territory," claiming Russians don't deserve to live otherwise. Russian warbloggers are politely incredulous, pointing out that the population won't support this. โฌ‡๏ธ

I think it's beyond "do nothing" - there is clear attempt (at least in US) to fracture democratic processes and cause major internal conflicts.
How Russian propaganda works abroad, in one sentence per layer: For the right: "Russia defends tradition." For the left: "NATO caused this." For the pacifist: "Weapons prolong war." For the cynic: "Everyone lies equally." For the tired: "It's complicated." Five contradictory messages, one output: do nothing. Russian propaganda doesn't need you to love Moscow. It needs you paralyzed โ€” and it has a script for whichever ideology you brought to the table. Whenever a take ends in "therefore, inaction," check the return address.

๐Ÿ‘ฝ VIDEOS CHANGED NOTHING Matthew Brown told Leslie Keanโ€™s livestream AMA today, August 22 2026, that even authentic alien body or craft footage would barely move the needle because the public no longer trusts what it sees on screen. He urged other UAP insiders to stay inside official channels instead of going public with evidence. If NHI presence has already been normalized through decades of managed imagery and denials, does controlled release still serve disclosure, or just reinforce the same filter? What would it actually take for people to accept the non human reality is already here?

A society cannot keep up a lie forever. The claim that Israel committed a world-historical crime and people virtuously responded to it, rather than that antizionists committed a world-historical crime and detonated a violent hate movement globally, cannot be sustained forever.
