I want you to eat blueberries, just not with bananas (unless you really want to). In my new episode, I examine the evidence for blueberries' benefits on blood flow, brain aging, glucose regulation, gut health, inflammation, and exercise recovery. Blueberries improve the ability of arteries to relax and deliver blood to the brain, heart, and working muscles. They can improve insulin sensitivity and buffer the blood-sugar response to a calorie-rich meal. Human interventions have also demonstrated improved aspects of memory and cognition in older adults, while observational data link regular blueberry intake to slower cognitive decline. This isn’t simply an antioxidant story. Blueberry polyphenols act like biological signals, influencing nitric oxide, inflammation, gene expression, and possibly neuronal plasticity. I also revisit the controversial banana-smoothie question, and explain why I take a cautious approach when my goal is maximizing blueberry-polyphenol exposure. The full episode is out now on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. Enjoy! Today, Pioneer Labs is announcing our first step towards terraforming Mars. πŸš€πŸŒΌ With equipment that fits in just a single rocket launch, we can convert Martian dirt, water, and air into enough building materials to construct a small city on Mars. To do it, we made the first microbe for Mars. We found the best microbe on Earth and used evolution to teach it how to source all of its nutrients directly from Martian materials. The first astronauts will be greeted with safe shelter already filled with water, oxygen, and rocket fuel for the return journey. This is the first step toward using biology to make Mars a friendly place for life. It lets us live off the land and helps us build the next great frontier. It's the first of five organisms we need to green Mars ⬇️

My NFT project Hermit Crabs on Robinhood has this (but for all(most) exchanges of the world, not just US open hours). tradfilines.com/world-map has a view for the time aware listings, Opensea doesn't support filtering for it on opensea.io/collection/hermit… . We just finished an art based mint that involved moving your crabs between all the exchanges of the world. And I did it on the xitter.cf/TradFiLinesNFT collection a couple of years ago for US times only ( opensea.io/collection/tradfi… , opensea.io/collection/tradfi… ). The Hermit Crabs have a more advanced implementation, and have mid-session breaks and all holidays included, as well as automatic daylight savings time. Bringing that to mainnet ETH TFL soon.
free idea for robinhood chain devs that are looking to start new meta: launchpad where coins can only be traded during US open hours this (1) would be funny and (2) would shift all the dynamics of RWA pairings so things dont depeg on coin creation you can select if you want to list on NYSE/HK/... and trading hours are applied accordingly
