Over 200 years of experience on stage! 🙌🏻 Reflecting on the progress in eating disorder research/treatment over the last 30 years. #LEDC2023
Worth the public transport issues...so excited for the next 2 days and everything it brings #LEDC2023
I know the most important thing right now is practical support to sort the crisis in the NHS but I can't help thinking about the long term, long lasting impact on the mental health of nurses and doctors, given what they're experiencing right now. It's heartbreaking!
Also to those starting their Clinical Psychology journeys...these photos were taken 11 years apart (almost to the date!). It has been over a decade but it's been an amazing journey (both professionally & personally) so all I will say is, you don't have to rush it, enjoy it!
Dr Who?...of yes that's us! Graduation Day! Congratulations to us all...DClin Psychology cohort of 2022! @StaffsUni @StaffsPsych
Do I have any connections here to any clinical/assistant psychologists who work in CAMHS Eating Disorder Services who would have time for a quick Teams chat or message? Just looking to make links with other services and see how psychology is utilised. Thanks 😊
As I'm about to start my first job post-qualified, I wanted to say a huge thank you to all the placements/supervisors I've had over the past 3 years. I consider myself incredibly lucky, that despite the added challenge of Covid and not meeting some teams in person, 1/2
I've been made to feel part of some wonderful teams and had some amazing placement experiences. Everyone I've met works so incredibly hard to support the communities they serve and I couldn't be more grateful 2/2 @BryonyERobinson @Judyandthebooks @camillajohns3
Yesterday was our last day of teaching before we officially finish the DClin in September and start new jobs as fully fledged Clinical Psychologists. It's been a strange but wonderful journey with an added sprinkle of a worldwide pandemic but couldn't have asked for a better 1/2
group of people to ride the roller coaster than has been the past 3 years. Can't believe we did it!! 2/2 @StaffsPsych
Ahhhhh! I found out today I passed my viva with only minor modification! 🥳 So chuffed and one step closer to the finish line!
To anyone having their DClin interview at Staffs this week, good luck! 👍🏻 I actually quite enjoyed my interview experience and know you will have some friendly faces in the current trainees! Hope it goes well for you 😊
So...I have viva in a few weeks and to say I'm pooing my pants would be an understatement! Anyone got any words of wisdom or advice on how to prepare myself?
Super excited for my last placement of training with the paediatric psychology team! They've already made me feel so welcome and I know I'll be ending on a high note!
Pleased to say that after a few job offers I have accepted a position as a clinical psychologist in the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service in Shropshire. So excited to get started in September. If anyone has any recommendations for resources, please send them my way!
Oh and requesting a refund if they are not going to be delivered soon was met by "you can request a refund but there's no guarantee" what does that mean?!? I just want to receive the product I have purchased and paid for!

Just submitted my first thesis draft 🙌 totally exhausted but feel like a weight has been lifted (if only temporarily!) and actually quite proud of it!
My partner recently found this piece of glass whilst fixing an underground electricity cable in Birmingham. Found about 3 metres down. Anyone got any idea what era it might be from or any way to get it identified? @archaeologyuk @MOLArchaeology
